it's not that hard to predict that at some point, the current best player will lose

in a bo3 with no blue storm i think even flash has a shot in the OSL vs jaedong

bisu certainly has a very good chance in a bo5 on P maps

I got up to check results and Sea lost again? Another 2 leagues he's out in groups. Just once I'd like to see him get deep into a tournament instead of getting killed early.

Good matchups. Hoping (P)Bisu vs (T)Flash and (Z)Luxury vs (P)Stork in the semis (T)Flash vs (Z)Luxury in the final would be cool.

you are not hoping for Bisu vs. Jaedong BO5? Cmon! . Luxury vs. Stork I agree with, I want to see neither Best nor Frozean in the Semis.

Bisu vs Jaedong, best of 5, has to happen at some point. 'The People' won't be satified until that matchup will take place! No Bo1, No Bo3, Not on an invitational tourney! A true epic Bo5 and nothing else, semi-finals or finals. Until that will happen, I'll still wonder! :-)

Even though Jaedong is on fire right now I don't think he can take Bisu in a Bo5 on shitty P favored maps.

You're all assuming Old Man Toss will lose to (P)Bisu.

Career 2-1 lead against (P)Bisu, (P)much practiced PvP in the proleague on Blue Storm, OLD MAN TOSS FIGHTING!

Thank god Bisu.

Poor Flash has to play Jaedong in the MSL and OSL.

bracket looks fine for Stork

Well, don't count out Best in PvP. We all know how strong Stork is there, but Best (according to limited data) has his best matchup there. And finally, Luxury in the semis, if he overcomes Frozean which is rather likely - it could remain Stork's fate to drop to the first zerg he encounters along the road.

ok, he has two recent wins against anytime and much but the rest are not against strong players (sorry ra)
And stork is still the favourite vs whoever wins the other quarterfinal.
Actually he stands quite a good chance vs Bisu/Jaedong in the final.
smth like Bisu>JD Stork>Bisu JD=Stork
his pvz is not that bad after all

smth like JD>stork JD>Bisu Stork=Bisu

did u see jaedong play today? it cant be done.

it can and it will

it cant and it wont

:D
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

I'd just like to make a small comment on the JaeDong vs Sea game.

At first glance, it just seems like another Sea pulling a "omg" moment then choking horribly and letting the game slip by when he could have won if he played regular.

To me this was not that case. In fact, I think the SCV rush was a good choice, theoretically. It is exactly what Sea did to Savior, and how he knocked down the maestro.

Of course there are 2 major factors that changed the outcome. The first is that JaeDong did not waste his lings like Savior did. In fact he didn't lose a single ling while killing 2 marines and an SCV with his initial rush.

Second is the middle battle between zerglings and scv/marines. When I first saw JaeDong engage I thought "why the hell would you do that". It has always been true that defending a marine/scv rush is best near your base, for multiple reasons (close to reinforcements, quick drone help and morphing sunken can take a few hit points and buys time for your defense). When I saw the 6 lings run into 5 marines and 7/8 SCVs, I kept thinking "oh no, he's gonna lose this".

But the result was not so. As we all saw JaeDong managed to kill all the marines, and I thought "how the hell did those zerglings win?". Then I saw 1 zergling with yellow HP engage a marine with full HP. Now we know yellow hp lings die to full health marines, even if the lings get close up before the first shot. And yet the zergling won! And that's when I realized the brilliance of JaeDong. THE TREES.

Trees give a certain amount of % miss to ranged units. And even though the zerglings are right next to the marines, it's still a range vs melee unit, and all the trees around them were making the marines miss their shots. That's why JaeDong engaged in the middle of the field rather than next to his sunken on a ramp. JaeDong understood the advantages of the map and utilized it to his advantage.

I'm a bit excited by the Stork vs Best match... according to TLPD both are 11-3 in pvp their last 14 games (Best only played 14 games, Stork is total 44-22, but with even better record last 20 or so).

11-3 is almost 80 % win.. that is an amazing win percentage over such an amount of games. I think this could be some really well played games.
