my guess now for group nominations, JyJ/Mind will pick Calm/Killer, then Best/Hero will probably pick Ample/Sharp unless Stork sneaks in

I mean his 8 Rax didn't work, then he lost his first bio ball, then lost all his Valkyries (actually Queen should have died already if Ample didn't control his Valkyrie so badly). Doesn't matter, just keep making MM and overrun Zerg. Basically I don't even know if Muta opening is worth it anymore or should all Zergs play like Effort vs Light yesterday.

The current meta just gives Terran too much firepower against Zerg. Too many times have I seen that kind of MM bust at Zerg's natural while Zerg scrambles for life. Basically I don't even know if Muta opening is worth it anymore or should all Zergs play like Effort vs Light yesterday. - the current meta just gives Terran too much firepower against Zerg: existed for 20 years, Zerg players won multiple championships in spite of it - Zero's loss: it's not the tier 3 player's fault that the tier 1 player decided to go for an all in build that the tier 3 player correctly identifies and counters - 8 rax not working: 8 rax isn't an all in, not killing the enemy hatchery doesn't mean the game is over for T - losing bio ball: bio is meant to be traded in early-mid game TvZ for map control/information, and Ample built enough barracks to make his bio ball replaceable, so losing the first bio ball near the enemy base isn't some sort of game ending deficit - just keep making MM and overrun Zerg: this is obviously just wrong, if it was correct, Light would have ended either Action or Effort yesterday

But I'd expect with those accumulated deficits Ample should have a harder time. Instead even after losing all the Valkyries carelessly he could still roll Queen over. And your point about Zerg championships doesn't explain anything. They won because they were the best in those tournaments, even if the matchup is not in their favor. But in the current meta with the current map pool, it's undeniable truth that TvZ has been a field day for Terran. Polypoid 56.4%, Vermeer 58.5%, Sylphid 59.7%, Retro 54.3%. The 4 new maps (despite sample size not really big at the moment) also see TvZ win rate at: Apocalypse 54.5%, La Campanella 57.7%, Tempest 56.6%, Invader 53.8%. Zerg was having a fest before this group because Calm and Killer were able to hydra bust their way against Protoss while Light choked a little bit, but the likes of Mind JYJ Royal and Rush are licking their lips when the true Zerg massacre will happen in the next round.
