f91's timing was good in the early game, he had about 8lings or so sneaked into nada's base, while nada's mm pushed out. lings picked up lots of scvs, but nada's mm didn't do much damage

F91 is better than most of you think. He won against Pj and Lx at WCG China, players who raped him during PGL. Either he came up with really refined strategies or he improved his late game (which I can´t imagine). He is always good for surprising his opponent and has really nice early game control.
Don´t forget, F91 was totally unknown to Nada, he probably thought he would beat him easily. Of course, chances are high he would have beaten him easily, if he would have known F91´s style.
Nonetheless it is a nice achievement to beat Nada. Not many foreigners can say such a thing. I am not surprised Pj can sometimes beat oov btw.
|
Really odd looooooww-SCV play from NaDa vs F91. Presumably he just took too many losses initially (I really didn't see that many SCV go down) and felt he had to keep pumping units, sacrificing worker production, but really, he was on 3 rax for so long...
Brilliant to see foreigners taking games against these players though :D

F91 just got married few months ago as well...

the girls are so prettyyy
|
You should give F91 more credit for his style of play. In most cases he either gets raped pretty hard or comes out victorious from what I've seen. It's different and refreshing.
The Chinese Pro's are accustomed to it and still lose. The top foreigners (if there are any left who play on a regular basis) should be well aware of his style by now and for some reason they still have problems adapting to F91's style. How could this be? ^^
NaDa usually likes to go with standard builds. In this case F91 just caught NaDa with his pants down.
Next time NaDa better bring the lube.

It is not recommended to install PPStream. This program shipped with trojans in the past (see http://www.google.com/search?q=ppstream trojan ), and it probably still does. I'm not touching this, but if you do, make sure you have an up-to-date virus guard which checks the files as they're being installed. Or scan your system afterwards. But better don't use it at all.
edit: OK I just verified it using Avira AntiVir. When installing http://download.ppstream.com/powerplayersetup.exe :
Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Delf.Patch.art [TR/Delf.Patch.art]' detected in file 'C:/Program Files/PPStream/xpsp2/is-8LBUJ.tmp
Think of this what you will, but I stopped the installation right there. It might be a false positive, but I wouldn't recommend installing that shit.

oh wow, why do these fucking public stream programs have trojans? wtfguys
|
Now that we're already talking about viruses, what happened with the rumours that ICCup Anti-Hack has a trojan in it? Because few days after installing it mIRC didn't let me log in because it said I've got a trojan. Ran a virus check and found a few trojans then deleted them.
Was it just a coincidence?

Lx played really, really good. He definitely deserved that win. Better storming was the key. But Nada, looked kinda sloppy and F91 was losing a shitload of units time after time.He was lucky that he had a huge advantage by that time. Oov was overconfident and turtled too long. Arbs + Carriers are good combo. I didn't believe my eyes. Oov had much earlier 3rd base and still didn't win. The best game is lx vs bisu so far. Bisu did his best in the end. Before the last attack, limits were 114/114. I think he'd better not attack from the low ground. And from Stork vs Bisu match it seems to me that Bisu needs to work on his PvP battles. His unit position and storming are not perfect.
|
|
Can't believe Nada and Oov both lost.. seems like all terrans are getting raped lately. Nada shouldn't have got caught off guard like that early game, mental lapse I guess. Then he tried to make up for it by pressuring sunks and got jewed again by lings. If it was any other map he probably would have come back but Peaks is so anti-terran. Even the Oov vs pj game, Oov had big adavantage but because of the map he couldn't just go kill him and instead loses to carriers, which are auto-win in those numbers, specially on that map.
Savior will win this event ez anyways though

Yeah they shouldn't promote like that. That way PJ wouldn't waste his time going to korea to play ZERO games.

So the organization only allows winning games of chinese players to be uploaded?
Care to explain more. I don't see any logic behind it.

Care to explain more. I don't see any logic behind it. they were uploaded by a player not by the organization, this is a personal decision by a player. I did't see why he should release the losing game. I find you have no logic. that's really easy to understand.

Ah, Chinese threads are always a source of TGIFF amusement... Unparalleled logic.

According to him, it's a player in Korea that released it. So STFU! Why the hell are you complaining so much? What's your problem? If this tournament bothers you so much, then stay off this thread. Your posts don't have any discussion value other than some weird attempt to expose a deficiency in some starcraft replay sharing moral system.

The conclusion is that you think its possible that players promote themselves with ONE winning rep against a progamer. That was my point at the start of the discussion and it still is. This is not the first tie they do it, nor the last im sure.
Its a shame because the other reps are probably good.
This is the conclusion, you suck balls.

So out of the four games only the three won by chienese players goes public, and does so though chinese sites. Coincident? Well, could be. But few things really are coincidents if you look underneath the obvious.
Let me give you a few advices about arguing. First of all, cool down. Statements like: 'OMG', 'I'm right', 'you're wrong', "So STFU", "this is the conclusion",' or 'this is fact' generally only makes you look stupid and adds absolutly nothing. If you want to prove a point provide a proof. For example, you claim the orgin of the replays are a korean insider whom made them public on a chinese forum. When you already know that, wouldn't it be easy to provide a link? So we can see if what you say is true. Surely most of us doesn't speak chinese, but some do, and it doesn't take many to confirm the truth of a statement. Or are you only forwarding rumors? Well, please say so then. By providing a source - no matter if it's gossip with orgins from your neighbors sisters husbands nephews co-worker, or an official statement from IEF -you allow us, the readers, to judge the source (and thereby the truth of the statement) for ourself.

Wow what a gay thread. Somebody hosts a tournament and we have this one gay fag here complaining about the replays. NOBODY CARES! I WANT ALL THE REPLAYS TOO BUT IF THEY PROVIDE ANY I'M HAPPY! I just want to know the rest of the results with this thread without having to go through your gay bitching. Go start another thread if you want to talk smack about the low morals in Chinese replay-sharing/keeping or whatever you're bitching about.
I don't even know, what's your point? That the Chinese community likes self-promotion? Are you retarded? Who doesn't? Remember the old Polish and German scbw communities? Who cares? People like to feel good abou tthemselves. They don't need you to step in and complain about some crap that nobody cares about, douchebag.

people do care, and when shameless promotion goes on they are called on it. This is a timeless tradition. Coming in here with 124 posts and throwing down like you know a thing or two is ill advised. Chinese patriotism is fun to fuck around with anyways. So whether it is important or no is irrelevent, its fun as fuck.
Chinacolor or w/e cannot get it passed his communist hive mind that only releasing the replays where professionals get embarrassed is biased and gay so he will get argued with in this thread or a seperate one.
Also what the fuck is with people who tink it matters when someone posts an arguement within a thread? Asif skipping over a page or two cost you valuable time or something haha

F91 gets underestimated because his control is good but not great and his multitasking is incredibly sloppy for a player of that level. That said, his pressure is insane and his timing sense is sick. F91 has a good style for exploiting any weaknesses that appear during the early/mid game.
Nevertheless, if you think F91 is on par with NaDa, you are delusional. Despite what you may think, progamers are humans too! They are not infallible... they CAN lose to people below their level! *Gasp* This "oh my god, how dare you imply that NaDa's skill is higher" attitude is really based on faulty logic since NaDa's skill is CLEARLY higher -- he only has one of the best achievement records in the history of Starcraft! Obviously it takes skill to beat a progamer, but what percentage of games would F91 win against NaDa? The "luck" was that F91 won on THAT day when the statistical odds of him winning were lower than NaDa winning. Whether it has to do with a "lucky move" or NaDa playing below his best doesn't really matter.

Doesn't IEF always eventually release ALL the reps? At least they've done so all the previous years.
|
First of all, these are not official replay releases. I'm sure at the end of the event, replays will be completely released. So this whole thing is stupid.
Second, the NBA only follow certain teams (nationally) because that's what people want. The tournament is still going on, and I don't know anything about the stream, but I'm sure they show all the games. The tournament is also probably targetted toward Chinese/Korean community, so what the rest of us end up seeing is up to them. Just because the first 3 replays that slipped were Chinese players winning, doesn't mean the rest won't be eventually released.
Lastly, in terms of demand, I'm pretty sure most of us wanted to see wtf happened. That's probably why these were leaked/released first, and since they're targetting a Chinese community, I can understand that too.
Is this relevant to IEF? It's one thing to talk about the replays and when they'll be released. It is another though, to bring in all these negative Chinese connotations and deviate from the main topic. Posts like "I hope China/USA gets nuked", are definitely off topic and damn annoying. Stuff like that only increase the possibility of this thread becoming a huge flame war..

Well they probably (I'm positive they do) have all the other replays too. But they decide to upload only winning games. Why did they decide not to upload the others?
Yeah I don't know what you are trying to say by quoting these two things. I try to say he thought chinese has more replays, but just 3 winning games got released. but actually we only get 3. so I told him he was wrong. but he didn't admit his fault and he tried to off topic to talk about shameless protomation and other things else. Oh I see now, you think he is misinterpreting something, but then you misinterpret him, and cause this commotion? what did I misinterpret him, please tell me? and you think just allow him to offend Chinese and Chinese cann't defend themselves? He was just asking about what happened to the other replays and the reason why they would not upload all of the replays. However you, aka, the whole chinese population (See "to offend Chinese and Chinese cann't defend themselves?") took offense to this. So he just replied in the internet kind. Which is more hostility. great explanation. you are like a official speaker, you describe me by using words like commotion, hostility and describe him by using soft words like misinterpret, the reason. thanks for teaching me these english words.
what the fuck? Hostility was in reference to HIM not you. And the other words werent even used >_<

I just saw F91 vs NaDa and surely he got lucky to sneak those zerglings in.. but he also played well. You can still see the huge skill difference between NaDa and F91.. NaDa has such a huge disadvantage and made a 30 minutes game out of it.. if sAviOr gets such an advantage he would humilate any terran out there within the next 10 minutes.

final is between Bisu and Savior
3rd place is OOV....

Ah Savior vs Bisu final. The way it should be. Now hopefully Savior kills him, otherwise it would really become laughable. I still think that Savior is better overall, but Bisu's PvZ is so exceptionally good...

Savior got advantage in first 10 minutes... ...then, he proceeded to pointlessly sacrifice his separated units for 15 minutes, allowing bisu to overexpand him. Then, he multiple times decided not to plague zealots and sairs, but use this precious tech to harm archons. Also, ultraling+swarm sneak on mined out expand was hillarious. Just...wtf.

Pool was before 3rd harch. Savior gets gas. Stream horrbily lags. Savior lairs before any other gas investions.

8 lings chase probe. 3rd hatch ready at the same time as core for bisu. savior starts spire. savior puts down 4th hatch at his nat.

corsairs out for bisu, savior expanding to 2

Corsair attacking ovie near bisus nat. Savior still mining from 1 gas, expoes to 3 o'clock main.

3 sairs and shuttle for bisu. reaver for bisu. (he watched savior's replays against pj ? ) hydralisks & evolution den for savior.

bisu got his first reaver

savior is switching to hydras

7sairs&2 reavers for bisu
savior got empty shuttle in bisu's nat. mass hydras for savior to block bisu's nat passage.

would you pls give me the link where I can watch this coz I just came from long vacation and I dont even know why this 2 are playing still )

dam this looks bad for savior

bisu pushes out, lots of dragoons, corsairs are taking overloads out like crazy
|
Reaver-sair-goon for Bisu, moving out. Heading for savior's main. Sairs kill some ovies at saviors main.
|
bisu wins. congratulations
|
savior GG soon, bisu is attacking his main base now, his nat is already down
|
|
Savior looses all his hydras in attempt to save his nat. Savior looses all 3 hatcheries of his nat. Savior is sooo pwned. Pretty much best counter to saviors strat from Bisu. U don't go 4gas low hydra turtle against 2base reaver-goon-sair.

Yea this is over. Bisu with incredible macro, 2nd expansion only starting but he has lots of goons and a few reavers and no problems against the hydras.
|
GG from Savior, Bisu 2-0. Once more. Wow, damn.
|
|
So is this over or is it bo5?
|
dam bisu is sooo.... i cant find the words
|
|
Savior got read like a book and roller like the paper in the damn think (terrible simile aside). It's rare I ever feel sorry for the Maestro, but here's one of those moments.

bo3, it's over. both games are recommended when VODs are available. Bisu - IEF champion YAY!
|
congrat to Bisu! wow im speechless....
|
|
now ill uninstall this shit with pleasure :D
|
|
haha
i will wait for the vod
|
Fuck. This isn't funny anymore. Savior please win against Bisu someday.
|
I haven't seen the first game but the second was indeed pure rape. Savior was completely helpless, even though he had 4 bases. Bisu steamrolled over him. I don't know how he's doing it... I'd like to know how many overlords his sairs have killed.
Before, I thought that Savior has even chances against Bisu, but now it really seems that he can't beat him. It's strange, really... he's doing well against every other Protoss, beats Stork relatively easy, but against Bisu it looks like he's some newbie from Battlenet.
|
well now Im wondering if Bisu does some voodoo magics against Savior

Well, I think a good example of why comes from the Revolutionary Magic article over there in Tl:FE. Bisu has a skillset of Macro/Micro/Multitasking no other protoss has been able to take and apply sucessfuly in pvz at his level. It's not the builds, it's the fact bisu is pulling it off and that shined in game2. Read Savior like a book.
|
Bisu is making Savior pay for those times he beat Nal Ra
I don't know what is going on, but I do know that PvZ isn't imba anymore lol. Bisu has Savior figured and its starting to get ugly.

Ahaha. 8-1 now. Can't believe it.

Well guys ... Yes I am Savior fan but I can`t deny that Bisu is the only one player who dominate Savior`s style in every way...

Yeah... must be a combination of very good scouting, preventing Savior from scouting, killing many overlords and thus slowing Savior down, and also having better macro and micro. Although that last part is hard to believe. But oh well. Bisu is one crazy mofo. He'll make KeSPA #1 I'm sure now.
|
This is the era of Savior and Bisu. These guys are both in a League of their own right now. As long as savior doesn't run into bisu he should be okay ;p
|
I'm going to hang myself is Savior gets stopped by Bisu again in WCG.

Bisu beat him in WWI Final with 2:1. Savior los serval finals vs Bisu now.
MSL Final. 3:0
Super Fight 1:0 WWI Final 2:1 IEF Final 2:0
That makes 8:1. Although beside MSL other games are not really count as official games ?? I dunno, but it does not count for PowerRank. I think.

he will :D

Damnit, PJ and Lx got toyed with easily by savior, and bisu comes up and owns him 2-0. Pj and Lx must be jealous as hell ;p
|
Lx can take the win over Bisu as a saving grace though :p

Bisu's PvZ is flat out better compared to the Chinese players. Bisu has Savior down to a science. He has better harassment and timing Keeping Savior busy and disallowing him to get his economy going is the way to go. As soon as he's done dealing with the sair dt, Bisu's economy takes control and when he pushes out it is usually GG.
PvP makes their lives a lot easier because of the funny aura around mirror matchups. Both Lx and PJ have been impressive in this tournament. Looks like they finally learned how to play while under pressure.
Savior has to start mixing things up more. A few all-in builds against Bisu wouldn't hurt especially in the first game to keep Bisu on his toes. He has to make Bisu start second guessing when its coming.

hmm no downloadable vods yet?? those other ones keep buffering for me T_T;
|
yes.. >< normally yakii's vods are always correct and reliable.. These also just keep buffering for me and takes awhile. The replay pack were supposed to have the replays from this match - the ones I really wanted to see. The replay pack just has mostly the savior reps and some from the Terrans.. I wanted mainly some of Bisu's matches, maybe Legendary's matchs too, but mostly the finals of Bisu v Savior!!
I hope there are other vod's / replays of this event released.. and now i'm looking forward more to the WCG Korea finals.. I want to know who will be representing Korea this year.. and who will prolly win WCG Grand Finals in Seattle..

Looks like we must return to July as the Hope of Zerg -.-
seeing as no other Z can hold a winning rec vs Bisu

i agree 100%. I think this is some kind of "cannot win against this specific player", like NaDa cannot defeat iloveoov, yellow could win against Boxer etc. I think July could stop Bisu's vsZ rampage.
btw WHERE ARE THE REPLAYS?????
|
I've only seen one game of July vs Bisu recently, and Bisu went for early pressure off of only 1 base, but failed. It was a bit of an all-in build. I think that if Bisu had gone for FE this game could have very well turned out differently. All of Bisu's wins vs. strong Zergs involved some kind of FE build. And, considering his strong macro, this also makes more sense than what he tried in that game.

the reason you only have seen one game of July vs Bisu is that they only played once (in a league whatsoever)

OOv played so good vs Bisu =[ I wanted TvZ final..
|
Thanks Yakii for the VODS. I'm disapointed that saviOr lost but 2:0 is really worse...
