No matter what qualification system there is people that "should" be in the tournament are going to be excluded. This is really just a couple people trying their hand at organizing a large tour for the first time and it's not going to be perfect.

I'm not really sure what to tell you. This event was invite only, intended to help us get Rogues Gallery off of the ground. It's very difficult to drop a new event on the scene with no notoriety and no starting prize pool and then expect people to go through the trouble of playing an open qualifier. We DID have a process going through and choosing the players as I mentioned before (If you're looking for a vague MMR level it was approximately reaching 2k last ladder season) but as I also stated this is an invite only event. This means that it is not the perfect display of the top 24 players in North America - but it is still a sample of a certain skill requirement to be competitive and a means for us to provide content for the scene and increase our overall production value and reliability.
I'm sorry that there are people who feel they would have liked to play that weren't chosen - as I mentioned before I am hoping that we will have enough traction to run open qualifiers for events in the future. Invite only events are of course biased by nature, as someone who hasn't been involved in the scene very long there were limited people that I had contact information for and was aware of their level. If anyone has a specific problem outside of the fact that we are running an invite only event, please feel free to message me on discord and I can do my best to address your concerns
