Ok so the title may be misleading. I strongly doubt the games will be broadcasted live, but I will do my best to keep the front page updated with live updates on the scores of each group (this is gonna be a huge task...)
OGN/MBC have once again started a fight with IEG. In their recent meeting, IEG demanded a large sum of money which MBC and OGN both thought were ridiculous. As a result, the companies were unable to come to a agreement once again, and the ties were broken.
Hearing this news, the Managers of each team except for MBC and OGN started a boycott of the MSL prelims, and left the stadium during commercial break.
The future of Proleague, Starleague, and Brood War Progaming in general has just been put in jeopardy.
All right, with the OGN/MBC/IEG/KeSPA stuff handled finally and things starting up again, the MBC Prelims will continue on the 29th, 1PM Korea Time, which is 12AM EST, and 9PM TLnet (28th).
As always, this front page will continue to update as things go on.

no FiFo has made mistakes like this quite a few times. They're updating like 20 things at once so they're allowed room to make mistakes.

about 8 vults move out of nat area, but are met by a group of goons, they retreat.
tanks set up right below min only wall, to fire at goons, then toss drops 2 reavers on them and kills boht tanks.
terran helps with his other tanks, toss picks pu the reavers and leaves.
terran now unsieging and moving out to his min only, goon and 2 reavers vs 8 tank and 15 vults, toss clears teh army that was outside nat, but 4 tanks inside the main force goons to retreat
terran wants to move out, caught unsiged in front of his min only, sieges all at once, in a HUGE clump. 3 storms his teh terran army, and it simply melts to zeal goon.
80% of the army dies, only 2 tanks and a few vults left in his army, 20 goons left for toss, toss retreats

i never understand why zergs mass up hydra when toss already has good cannon coverage and is massing gates. Mid-game is approaching, power while you can!

well it's a variation of the bisu strat, with the sairs coming faster than zerg expects compared to the regular bisu build.
zerg expanded twice despite this basically being a slightly delayed 1 gate sair dt strat, which normally would not happen. Late den lead to 4 dead OL's, which messes up zerg macro timing, snowballs into more OL deaths, etc.

midas build seem risky to me. He came out with 1 tank like 2-3 vults against 6-7 goons. He should have gotten ownt imo. But then he scouted dbl expo and then just got really aggressive after that

IEG is demanding .75 million per year per station, play 40% of the revenue from all VOD Downloads OGN says that they'll be loosing money if they agreed to that and couldn't possibly. As soon as MBC announced that they refused IEG's proposal, most of the coaches and players just boycotted the prelims at the start of the 3rd round of games, so those games are going to be postponed (if not cancelled).

It's a bit of a mistery to me too, I hope someone can explain the situation to us. It seems to me like they're some sort of middle-man between KeSPA and MBC/OGN. Perhaps some of the money goes to KeSPA...
so KeSPA owned PL, sold it to IEG, but OGN and MBC have been broadcasting it the whole time. Now whoever owns PL wants royalties from everything including VOD money and such.

Hm.. the live bit on the schedule is only 2hrs 20min long, so that can't be the whole thing. But if it starts at 1pm, I can't imagine it lasting until 9pm.

However, most schools are not operating at full capacity because there are less kids to go around. So, there are plenty of extra rooms sitting empty. the mutas killed that group of rines which was plenty damage. There's wasnt any advantage disadvantage that early but orion switched to lurkers really fast and got hive in very good time. It was very good tech timing and massing by him but he just messed up vs that 1st push, if he killed that without losing his nat which he should've done with swarm then he could've expoed again and would've been in very good shape
the minerals didnt delay orion, lack of mutas did. It's not as easy as it looks to muta to lurker switch and tech that well while getting enough drones at the same time. anyways think what you want i'll only get more angry as i type more

Killing 10 rines 2 meds while losing 5 mutas 8 lings in the process doesn't seem like advantage to me. That combined with 0 base damage and actually LOSING his mutas in addition to not doing any structural damage to the economy seems like a shitty deal. Especially since his gas heavy investment gains him nothing.
I was surprised though that the T missed the hidden drone @ 12. Every zerg always hides it at exactly the same spot (maybe 2). So that was a tad sloppy imho. Could have bought himself another min at least of no 4 gas zerg.
For the rest the zerg played "ok" except the shitty muta harass imho only because the terran did.. err nothing? The second Boxer moved out the zerg buckled under any pressure at all. Just his swarm usage and plague usage was really commendable, nice work there but. Winning the move but losing the game.
I won't even start on how he had 1-2 ultras 12 lings and a defiler on HOLD POSITION under a swarm and just missed 12 mnm moving right along next to the swarm into his nat to kill all his drones, and then due to sweet micro even killing the hatchery, more lings, a defiler and almost an ultry due to gosy medic/mineral wall. Blocking your own ultra with your defilers isn't genius control either.
Imho the zerg never ever had a shot. Only reason he looked good for 3 min was cause theres was nothing from his opponent to make him look bad.

L2W if I may ask a question, is there any word on how the ODT and Survivor games are going to be spaced out? I've calculated that there are going to be 20 groups, which most likely means 20 days of games before MSL/OSL. Even with nearly continuous gaming, that's 3 weeks. Throw in Proleague games, and we're looking at at least 1 month of games before the major leagues?
