When the players were interviewed before the match, the Zerg player said that he was not a former champion. There were some humorous exchanges between the viewers, MC, and Bisu, where Bisu mentioned that it could be hero and everyone kept rubbing it in that hero was the reigning SSL champ. Given that this happened multiple times, it was intentional.

There was a lot of humorous banter. Example: MC said "I was really good in practice, but sucked in real matches." Bisu then said, "In my experience, the people who are good in practice are the ones who are good in real matches."

The Zerg used the ID pongpongzerg, which is one of Larva's nicknames. Pokpoong (hurricane) Zerg is of course Yellow's famous nickname. Pongpong is a Korean brand of dish soap...and Larva is of course a famous former dishwasher. It is unclear if the player was trying to misdirect the audience or not.

Bisu also had some comments about Flash and Fantasy. He said that they were the only S-class Terrans he has faced. This was said in a fake arrogant way for laughs. Last was using an ID that means S-class Terran (sgubterran or something like that).

During the interview with Last, Bisu named his "best players of each race" -- EffOrt for Zerg, himself for Protoss, Last for Terran
