Personally, I just think people just overrate him because, like TheMarine elaborated during the cast, Sea usually destroys weak players even if he is lackluster against strong ones.

To be fair, I think most of the Korean criticism comes mostly from his behaviour on Afreeca more than anything - he is apparently one of those personalities that really should not stream without some PR help.

like he gives a damn when he is one of the more popular BW afreeca streamers and rakes in balloons regularly. you don't see other terrans like mind or ssak getting that kind of attention/viewership. some perceive him to be loud and obnoxious but thats just the way he rolls.
you can also fault him for being lazy/not practicing or preparing hard enough for challenger day but the only one that can do anything to fix it is Sea himself.
