Ppl really living in the past -_- While it's true that this tourney won't be high level (thinking sziky level here lol), I think people are free to donate their money how they want. Everyone has favorites and it doesn't surprise me that people would want to support them even if they don't play anymore and it's for a bit. As mentioned, being a BW pro atm isn't really possible so chances are most atm are working some job or studying etc... and they play BW on the side. The option to donate to other tournaments is always there. Personally, I think this tournament will be a lot of fun to watch and I can't wait to see who ends up winning :D

Ironic you were an SC2 player also. A lot of us wish you played SC2 still. And we all know you spread your cheeks to get into those Korean clans. Ex: It wasn't skill.

Call me the david blane of joining Korean clans.

Ppl really living in the past -_- I really can understand you and I feel a little like it as well. But saying yoda wouldn't have gotten attention around here is a little too much imo. Fact is, that Defiler got the least bit of clicks, because the advertisment for his tournaments was too little and we all missed to provide coverage and instead focussed on other things, worth a lot less production wise. The Defiler write-up was still a main page news or a spotlight, can't recall what exactly, and numbers also went up for a bit. Most people said it, let's make the best of that tour by trying to get more attention to the post-beta scene. Hint: just saying people are stupid won't do the trick. Also, this isn't aimed at you totally, but BestBB already told us we shouldn't answer the real ... unpleasant people in this thread. Let's just try to get some of the players here to play more afterwards, maybe against the good players of today, so we can get rid of the nostalgia-only one time effect. Even if that fails, we get to see a hopefully entertaining tour.

Artanis is hosting a tournament for oldschoolers for your viewing pleasure and welcomed donations to fund a prizepool - he is not controlling the donators nor the amount these people are donating. Stop spamming this thread with useless comments about the amount - this is a community funded prizepool in the interest of about everyone including people who quit years ago. If you're still playing broodwar for money you should seriously reconsider the time you put down into this game. You'd make more money in a regular job in no time. Yoda/defiler and everyone else who still hosts tournaments got all my respect and I hope people donate to them aswell, but we don't see them bitching like you do. You could always donate yourself, but I guess that is not of interest. Oh well. Let people enjoy this tournament without this narrow-minded bullshit. No... it's not of interest at all, I like to play not watch people play. Though I did donate for defiler.ru and will again in the future for it brings me much more entertainment that this thing i won't even bother watching. I should rather contribute for a community that play everyday and make tournament for everyone that those one shot tourney for "my viewing pleasure" that I don't support at all. And that's my "narrow minded bs" perspective, "with all due respect".

As you can see what people say or comment in the thread. Stay away with negativity and just ignore the thread in the future.

The people in this tournament drew people into our community. People wanted to watch them. People like you push people away from our community. Nobody with a worthwhile life is watching you.
