With the main season concluded and a little post-season drama...http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=442272 we're on the way to the play-offs where each match victory translates into opportunity to win more of the grand prize money. The semi-finals features a rematch of week 13's sas vs LRM and also iFU vs LF. Both sas and LF have already beaten their opponents during the regular season, but as mentioned previously this is the ultimate battle for glory and past results are meaningless.
Hold onto your hats, grab some popcorn, and tune in to watch LMaster cast some epic series at standard cast times (He said he would be there, he's an honest guy, let's give him a chance!) + Show Spoiler +
Draw I feel bad for you. You don't have to face Sziky just once, but fucking TWICE, although if there's a protoss in the foreign scene that I'd confide in, to beat Sziky, that would be you!
LR: Tama the iFU protoss spawns in the 5oclock position and Terror spawns on the left hand side of the map Outsider SE. Tama goes for a scout after the gateway to the top right starting location and finds nothing, then makes his way to terror's base. Terror opts for a wall in at the front to deny any zealot aggression that Tama may follow up with, but so far it appears he's going straight to goon.
Terror is going for a one base drop build after siege mode has completed, then loads his tank and two vultures (leaving no defense) to attempt a drop at Tama's base which is defended by one goon. Tama opened with 2gateway robo observer into expand after 5 goons.
Terror attempts a few more drop harasses which are easily handled by Tama, and then Tama retaliates with a drop of his own, killing 7 or 8 scvs Tama pulls ahead in supply by around 30.
A few more drops from Tama pulls his lead to 50 supply (150 vs 100), even though both are on equal bases (3). Tama then decides to expand to the other main base at the top right. No arbiter/ carrier tech in sight for Tama as of now and Terror has his science facility completed.
More drop harass from Tama Followed up with a miss-timed attack from Terror, when Tama was maxed with upgrades and low tech army, but two dropships. After this attack, Tama goes up another base in the central mineral only location and leads by 80supply.
Terror attempts a few more drop plays but they are easily cleaned up by Tama's overwhelming army size. Tama then proceeds to completely overwhelm Terror into a gg. Series tied 3-3! Ace Dandy vs Scan @ FS!

That really was game of the entire tour and then some by far. Not only was it exciting and tense, it was very well played on both sides with many moments where both sides really had to execute wonderfully and did.
Only thing I kinda wonder is why Sziky didn't make more use of his large supply and pile of crackling for a long time. It felt to me that had he done little attack on the right side, then dumped crackling at the left side while draw's army had been pulled away he would have had a strong chance of breaking that down.

I agree while Sziky played at god tier and so did Draw. Sziky didn't seem AS crisp as usual.
What I wonder is if he could have stopped commiting to taking out Draws base earlier and maybe turtled. I know that Protoss sieging can be very cost efficient, but he would have more of a chance vs that than well positioned reavers covered by cannons.

Zerg turtling on equal bases to Protoss usually ends in an unpleasant situation for zerg though. Sziky wanted 3 to break the stalement and give him the edge.
