The NoisE Amateur StarLeague Round of 16 Qualified Players
1st Seed Players
Reclusive, Hollow, Fold, Dsyxelic Lumire, RuSh, LETALis, and Splax .
2nd Seed Players
Action, m4nu, WandS, Quirinus, Wallace, Mewka, S2Glow, and Zeran.
The Round of 16 is a nail biting single elimination stage. The first seeded players will face off against second seeded players in a Bo3 on set maps. The maps in order are: Neo Aztec, Destination, Empire of the Sun
Matches and Schedules
The Round of 16 will be played on May 20th @ 19 CET on the Fish server. We will meet in op ASL The cast, however, will be on Friday, May 25th @ 20 CET and Sunday, May 27th @ 19 CET.
Day 1 - May 25th @ 20 CET - Casted by EleGant at EleGant.Tv
1) All players are subject to administrative discretion.
2) Bad manner directed towards fellow participants and/or ASL staff will result in a league ban.
3) All games must be played on the Fish server using either Mini Launcher or Chaoslauncher.
4) All replays have to be sent to NoiseASL@gmail.com.
5) If a player is experiencing an unplayable quantity of lag, they must leave the game before the two minute mark. Beyond this point, the player will be forced to play out the set.
6) Lag and IP conflicts will be handled on a case to case basis at the official's discretion.
7) If a player cannot play his match due to personal time issues, that player needs to contact ASL staff 72 hours beforehand and then their opponent 48 before their match to either PP the match or play early. Upon proof via screenshot of contact back and forth between player and opponent, the referee handling the case will then assign a date and time to be played, earlier or later than set time, at a time of mutual availability.
8) If a player does not show up within 15 minutes of the set game time, their opponent is given a W.O. victory. Technical issues not apply and are done case by case by ASL officials.
9) Any form of abuse during this stage of the tournament will result in a league ban.
10) Players may be required to surrender their IP addresses without any prior notice.
11) No spoiling of any results before the casts. Doing this may result in DQ of the tournament.

I didn't want to face you either Reclusive - you're a player in this league I respect a lot. When we had our little mini series - I struck fear when I felt the eye of the tiger in you. You wield a lot of potential and growth and It's also chilling to know that you are equiped with both perspectives in the PvT matchup.
It's devastating to know that one of will move on and for one of us the journey ends, but I will still be satisfied in my performance in this league if I were to be knocked out by you.

Like said in the rules, I need to know the desired play date and time 72 hours before the actual play date. This MUST be a date that the non-inconvenienced player can agree on via screen shot of agreement and/or personal message. The reason for the detailed requirements is because an ASL staff member must be present during all games from here on out of the tournament. Games played without staff being present will not be accepted.

I think you're a really good player as I played you in the ASL ladder and also judging from watching your stream. Also, Terran pride baby! :D

I can't speak for everyone but imo when Lumire posted his escapades on SC2 in a thread with die hard Broodwar fans - he no doubt became public enemy #1. Also Wallace is a fan favourite and after watching your pvz match with him in the ISL - his PvZ can contend with the best zergs in the ASL.
The polls' title should be changed to "who do you want to win" instead of "who will win" since the majority tend to vote for the person they like. Which is acceptable since we do not have all the cold hard facts on how good certain players are in certain match-ups, maps, etc. That's the beauty of this league - the skill ceilings for players in this league can change drastically with the help of an incentive.
I really like both players so I can't wait to watch them both battle it out. Best of luck to both Wallace and Lumire.

Ok, I have exams on the 23th, 24th, 26th, 31th and 1st of June. So I would like to play tomorrow if we can or forget about it until my exams finish. If that's ok with the format of the tourney I agree to play after the 1st of June. If not, its your call, I really don't give a shit anymore..

Ok then. I already mentioned when I will be available to play our games. After the 1st of June if not today. As I already mentioned as well I have five exams in a matter of week so my plan was to beat you today, but since you can't come I don't know what the situation is. The rules don't say anything about pc problems, only about time zone issues. So its up to the admins to decide in this case.

I firstly want to apologize to the players, sponsors, and staff of the ASL. My absence as of late is due to a family emergency and I put my family first. I thank you all for understanding.
Secondly, I'm back home picking up a few things to head back and I wanted to make sure things were in order before I left.
- I'm missing replays from Fold vs Zeran - I'm missing replays from Splax vs Action
Now, I understand there has been a conflict with the postponing of matches and I take full responsibility of that due to me not being here to contact and communicate with the players. My hopes are that the players listed above come to an agreement and play before Friday (aka tomorrow). I do however understand conflicts with scheduling and will allow further postponing to Saturday.All games must be played before Sunday or W.O. is given to the inconvenienced player.
