Fine, I'll actually look at all the notable zvp games in the last 3 years and compare the win rates of hydra busts and economic builds like 12 hatch into no units and quick 3rds. I'll even disregard quick 4ths because that has like a 2/10 success rate and would drag the overall econ builds' win rate down.
Unless my memory is useless I still think hydra busts will come out ahead by a long shot. I will post the results in a new thread in a couple of days.

12 hatch - no units - quick third - droning/4th and 0 aggression
vs
12 hatch - no units - a quick third and then killing the opponent with a hydra bust

I thought threads going up 1 day before the event was the generally accepted way. Although with all the hype at the moment it is understandable that people want them earlier.

Bisu: There are less teams and less matches, so I probably can't match my last year's performance but I'll try to get as close as possible to that. I don't have a specific number in mind, so I'll just win every time I play. I personally think Samsung Khan will perform the best this season.

Uhmm, Overpool, -> double expand is the staandard build for ZvP for last season, and fast 3 base generally has been forever.. I ve idea what you are on about.
But i agree that Jaedong's probably the only Zerg still sticking with 3S5H as his staple ZvP style, most other Zergs seem to have moved away from that.
