Two weeks later than OSL, new season of MSL kicks off today. (it's sponsored by UZOO.com, an esport-related website) Reading through the report on www.pgr21.com I suppose that MSL comes back to its original format. It starts with double elimination, while there is only one game in the first two rounds instead of bo3 last season. And NO MORE any historical bo7 final! All of the final, final of winners' group and losers' group are bo5 like what it used to be.

the sponser must be that Uzoo site (Rush Hour_Uzoo, it's like EVER_Forte and MyCube_Paradoxxx)

Sucks for both SKT and KTF (since they have 3 players in group D)
They're guaranteed to have at least 2 players in the losersbracket after the 2 first rounds

o, ic. i hear that uzoo is an uprising esport site. so they sponsor MSL? hoho...that's cool. and this time the prize for champ is 25K US$, pretty nice

So sad! This could have been so much funnier to watch. Group D will be slaughtering from v´both XellOs and Reach. ZeuS first major tournament in a long time and he hooks up with YellOw =]. NaDa vs IPXzerg and Chojja/Foru and Boxer/July could be really great games though. GoRush vs JJu, zvz, bleh. Kingdom vs Oov will be interesting since last time they met. Bot where in their prime, especially Kingdom. But now both are slumping so we'll see who's slump is the strongest.

Sorry, but I completely disagree ;p.

This MSL seems weak and the only reason I think you (collectively not one of you) feel it is strong is the fact that Boxer is in it this time. The groups suck and the player lineup is anti-climactic. I am happy that Boxer is back in though because he might spark things up a bit but there are some major players missing from this MSL. Then again, MSL always has pretty good games but there is just something about this one that I'm feeling. I just hope it turns out to be a great season.
