Tiebreaking Situations Group A: If Soo wins, he advances from group as 2nd place. If Hiya wins, Soo, Hiya, and Sea will play tiebreakers for 2nd spot. Group B: If Hydra wins, he advances from group as 2nd place. If Stork wins, Hydra, Stork, and Shine will play tiebreakers for 2nd spot. Group C: If Ty wins, then he advances from group as 2nd place. If Jangbi wins, then Ty, Jangbi, and Calm will play tiebreakers for 2nd spot. Group D: If Modesty wins, then he advances from group as 2nd place. If Hyuk wins, then Modesty, Jaedong, and Hyvaa will play tiebreakers for 2nd spot.
Rules for OSL Ro8 Bracket. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
1. First place from one group meets 2nd place from another group 2. The two people who advanced from the same group cannot meet each other in the Ro8. 3. Map order is drawn randomly (The 4 1sets will feature the 4 maps in the pool, and so will the 2nd and 3rd set)

Hyuk you better win today. For the sake of the ratings an OSL with only 1 member of TBLS for the second consecutive time will not be a good thing. Yes I know Stork isn't technically eliminated yet but his PvZ lately makes me want to pull my hair out.
I would bet money that Hyuk is going to Hyuk up everyone's predictions just for the hell of it and lose spectacularly to Modesty after an enormous lead where the commentators would be busy hyping up JD's possible return. Then they would be depressed as Modesty somehow wins.
Actually even though I'm hoping for a Modesty victory I think Hyuk will win somehow. Not to mention tiebreakers for all 4 groups will annoy the fuck out of everybody.

that already happened a year ago.
I can't find it. I mean, the 4 tiebreakers in a single OSL thing. I remember the Effort-Shine-Go.go marathon The closest I found was :Bacchus OSL 08 With 3 tiebreakers.

4 tiebreakers will be the first in history. I hope they hold them on separate days.
Ok, so there's really no reason for Hyuk to win tonight?
If he loses he gets first and knocks out JD. If he wins, he still goes first and potentially keeps in a bigger threat in JD.
On the flip side, keeping JD present a better chance to knock out a top player like Flash in later rounds (assuming JD makes it through tiebreaks). Hyuk would much rather ZvZ JD than ZvT Flash methinks.
So if you're Hyuk, what do you do? Go for the win or go for the JD knockout?

If he loses won't he face Flash in the Ro8? I think he would rather win and then face one of the group B zergs first.

He gets to be first, which means he doesn't have to face anyone who got first in their group in the Ro8(meaning Flash and Fantasy)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Hyuk is still 1st in his group even if he drops this game

Hyuk and Modesty would be 2-1 but Modesty would win the head to head.

If Hyuk loses, both he and Modesty will have 2-1 but Modesty won against Hyuk, so Modesty should get 1st place then, which would mean Hyuk gets to play Killer, Fantasy or Flash, which I'm sure he doesn't want to.
