Fantasy literally harassed Stork to death, he was behind from what i could tell but then just raped Stork with vultures and abusing the map with tanks. Should have been Stork 3-0, not 0-3 ![]()

It was no luck, just perfect preparation and play. When you remember the interviews of the coaches, January mentioned, that they are trying to help Stork, but where very indeferent about it. The Interview with the SKT-Coach showed, that they really were preparing intense and precise for this matches... Yeah, dunno why a lot of people are trashing so hard on Stork...yes he got beat the hell up but Fantasy straight up countered carriers in game one from the very start...game two he totally shut Stork down with a crazy contain there, and game three is really the only one where I can agree that he straight up out played Stork. So don't trash on Stork losing too hard, a lot of it was Fantasy being ridiculously well prepared and just knew all of Stork's tricks.

That's the thing here, Stork could practise his heart out but if he wasn't going to use that practise to figure out a few builds to mix things up a bit, was he really using his time wisely? He played to his typical strengths in these games, which was the way he was playing (and crushing fools) long before any hardcore practise for finals.

I mean, every Terran in SC2 knows how to do it, TLO even does it as Protoss. We have been doing since lost temple in 1999 =p It's just that the maps dont usually lend themselves to it this well. stork should have defended better to be honest. that one dropship did way too much damage.

The nature of proBW suggests that Stork shouldn't even be anywhere near this level so far past his peak. So perhaps it's not so improbable that Stork can continue high level play and reach another finals in the future. After all when Boxer was asked to name a progamer whom he believed would be able to remain competitive by age 30 he named Stork. Yes, I still think Stork has yet to plateau. In the past he was undisciplined and relied on his natural talent for whatever successes he achieved. But now at least in interviews he sounds a lot more focused, disciplined. And this makes a huge difference.
