I'd argue he would've been ready for mutas. Mutas would come a bit later than those lurkers would, and he would've had turrets and medics would be out instead of just spawning. 3 irradidates + turrets is more than enough to stop mutas. | ||

Seriously, Hogil could have run him over with pure zerglings thanks to the fact he had only a single barracks, no vultures, and no academy. Has nothing to pressure the zerg with, has nothing to defend besides some spells that can be dodged/split and a handful of marines that have none of the upgrades that make them good, and had no real way of defending his natural besides a billion turrets. | ||

Also the build would've been much better vs mutas. He would be stuck in his base for a while, but that would be just fine since building up energy is like free kills and eventually pure muta will not be able to handle more and more vessals + mnm. | ||
