Even though Anyppi lost several expos, Baby couldn't take them all out, and Anyppi kept rebuilding. Eventually (just when things were looking grim with the carriers) Baby's 3rd was mined out and he was down to the 4th only, which slowed down his production by quite a bit. He tried to grab the middle expo (twice), but Anyppi kept the pressure on. Anyppi essentially went zealot/goon/ht, and had great storm coverage. Baby just mined out. | ||

There was a point when Baby was at Anyppi's natural, that he probably could've pushed into the main, but he held back and ran back to defend a base that fell one minute later. All the time that Anyppi was sacrificing units to hold the middle, he was saving up a ton of resources while Baby was only on 3 bases. You saw how he could afford to sack units for good storms to greatly weaken Baby's army and slow his pushing power. Basically paper thin tanks < storms  | ||
