His opening was great and he had a big advantage but at some point he needed to realize that he no longer had a huge advantage and should have stopped pushing. He had plenty of opportunities, literally like an 8 minute window in which he could have been like "ok I lost my big advantage so let me just park my army on the high ground and settle for splitting the map". It's not the prettiest way to win but if you split the map on Match Point as Terran you're going to win, especially seeing as how Really already Recall-proofed his main as well. If he just sits on the high ground to secure his 4th (which he never did and that cost him the game), he can build up 200/200 and take his 5th as well, and there's nothing Jangbi can do about it. It's games like that which make it harder for me to believe that Really's extremely solid fundamentals will ever translate into Starleague success. The ability to make good decisions on the fly consistently just doesn't seem to be there yet. Really agreed. His macro style of play is extremely good when everything just goes as standard but when the pressure is on, he seems extremely slow to react or perhaps even stubborn. His games against 815 clearly showed this as he didn't seem to notice that he missed the timing window to make a successful sunken bust. Also obvious in his ace match with Forgg as he took far too long to notice that he had to move back to his base to prevent Forgg from simply walking into his natural. | ||
