Special moves out with about a group of MnM, Luxury intercepts and kills them with some muta-ling. He's now taking a third and turrets are up.

That last game demonstrated the difference between a player of Luxurys calibre and one of the top Zs nowadays. Its a VERY bad mistake to panic about the push at your front and dont even get the basic 2 lurk 1 defiler defense up on your third. Had that been the case, he would never have lost his 3rd and be in a decent position.

Special on 30 supply but refusing to GG.
This is kind of like Flash vs Best on Match Point, with the difference being that I could totally believe that Special is too stupid to realize he's lost.

Is special going to hide a building somewhere hoping for a draw ? looks like his plan cause hes not gg'ing at 30 supply

Pure has a decent saturation at two of his bases, looks like he's going to win soon, Special has literally nothing.
GG from special, thank god for the swift resolve of the game.

Haha, special is hilarious to look at - he seems to have no clue whatsoever what is going on, can't even understand when he's losing. ;D

The ending supply was 136 to 25 ROFL. And it was at ~150-160 to ~50 for like the last 10 minutes rofl.

My God that game is finally over. That was literally the worst, most painful pro-game I have ever seen. So sad that one of these players has to advance while we can only get one of Light / Zero.

Pure going for 1gate tech, Special is doing 1rax gas without a wall at his ramp. Both players scout at the wrong direction, but upon seeing the SCV, pure makes the right decision and sends his first zealot right to his opponent's main. The scouting SCV sees Pure's build but is killed by a dragoon.
Robo going up for pure, Special accumulates 6 marines and a tank and moves out in the middle of the map, but retreats.
Observatory goes up for Pure, and he places down an expansion. Special also places down an expansion.
Pure tries to pressure the terran somewhat, but siege is done and he is forced to retreat. Barely blocks a vulture that tries to sneak up his ramp. He clears out 9 o'clock and sends a probe to place a nexus but it gets ambushed by a vulture.

I think this is going to be another 30 minute game.

Pure has teched up to templar archives and has a decent amount of dragoons. Special moves with some vults, marines and about 6 tanks, setting up position in the middle of the map but Pure circles around with some dragoons and starts killing his natural! A lot of SCVs lost!
Special has now setup a blockade in front of the Protoss' fat bridge, as per Day[9]'s reccomendation and has managed to clean up the goons in his nat.

Unbelievable. Special is actually gonna win this game...

I think deep down I actually want Special to qualify. Pure is just gonna get eaten alive in the OSL with this sort of play, and Special actually has the fighting spirit. Plus he really is sorta fun to watch...

Pure tries to break out, not very effective mine drags but he simply has too many stuff and manages to force his opponent back! He's looking to expand to 9 o'clock now.
Special advancing again, this time with a substantial vulture regiment added to his army. He decimates Pure's forces, but is only slightly ahead in army count due to heavy casualties.
Special has reinforced solidly, and is looking to attack Pure's nat again, but he gets DT dropped in his nat. He manages to clean it without receiving too much damage. Special crosses the bridge, and he immediately receive a dragoon force up his nat.

Wow, I can't believe Special didn't mine ANY counter routes. It was obvious what any competent player would do. It's as if Special was just going through the motion and never figured he would win anyways.

Special gets blocked and throws in the towel. Pure doesn't look very convincing it's doubtful if he could advance past the Ro16 this OSL... depends on who else qualifies I guess.

Pure played well. Impressive countering tactics from him. Was pretty clearly in control of his games vs Special, toying with him in game 1 even.

To be honest I view Zero to be more dangerous to Flash than Light. Light tends to fell apart against Flash. And apparently he also lost his "dignity" recently

I watched the VOD's and holy crap, both Luxury and Special are so terrible it's not even funny. They need to get replaced by b-teamers of their respective races.
