just click on the tourneys forum section and then you'll see a page with a number of threads both new and old.in that page you'll see a very small new topic icon on the top.click it and then do the rest.

I'm predicting Pure will be sent out for ace because they won't play Mind again after he's crushed by Flash and Flash has shown in his game vs Jaedong that he can completely dominate on Fightning Spirit. Simply put Flash's TvT and TvZ is unstopable at the moment. I'm also a bit of a Pure fan so that may be biased, but if Wemade send out Mind, Sine or RorO, they will stand less of a chance imo.
Also hoping that Pure will beat Violet but judging by record that seems unlikely.

Agreed. Mind's TvT has always been his strong point and he certainly has a reasonable chance of brining Flash down. I wouldn't bet on him, but it's very possible.

Honestly, I don't blame them. Flash is such a monster these days, I really feel he's the strongest player at the moment. His only 'weakness' is in his TvP where his aggression can get him in trouble, but his TvZ and TvT are so immaculate there's nearly no chink to attack. His loss against Hyun was more due to the map than anything else. He's just a demon and with players like Shine, Violet and Luxury on his team it's a good time to be a KT fan.

Yeah seriously...Flash vs Mind is probably going to be closer than everyone here thinks but I can't see how Pure is going to take down Violet considering how careless he is and how good Violet generally is at PvP. I mean all you have to do is watch any of Pure's last 10 games to see how he can get a massive, massive advantage only to throw it away nearly instantly because he's an idiot.
Either way, I just want to see Forgg play again and hopefully not suck.

I had a txt open while I watched this. My stream of conscious from this game is as follows:
I love TvT. It takes so long to decide. There is so much skill involved. Endurance and skill. The game isnt decided quickly. An early advantage can be overcome with a barrage of tank fire. It is a fickle matchup. A fusion of immobility and the dropship mobility that counterpoints that.
This game, from covering the armory with a floating barracks, to intense control of the mid-map peaks outside of each natural, has been an amazing game. I have loved TvT for years, and this game somehow stands out. Maybe because Flash is fighting here, and he is unbeatable.
Still, it seemed that despite his disadvantages, Mind has put up the best fight I have seen. Leta and FBH have both put up immense efforts against this monster and failed, and I would include this game amongst those recent amazing TvTs.
EDIT: One's consciousness, in stream form, is a poor speller.

Doesn't look like he can be beat honestly, you can't just win TvT's without proper mechanics and no one is close to Flash at the moment.
He has better macro, is extremely good at gaining map control and using it to take an econ advantage.
He can also harass and wins in most fights. Seems unstoppable.

Ultimately, we have to defer to someone's opinion of what should count if everything isn't counted, and in SC, that opinion is Kespa, for better or worse.

People like to flame the teams who are doing extremely well. They also like to bash on the big farm teams (i.e. SKT1 and KT). Both of these teams tend to buy a lot of players and rely on their $$$$ to field strong lineups, and they rely on these big names to carry the team to the Proleague Grand Finals.

Good to see that Flash continues his monster streak. 21 consecutive wins in TvT is just insane.
Too bad this time all other guys lost... I am not surprised that ForGG failed (he fials pretty much all the time) but too bad that Violet or 815 couldn't pull out a win. I'm sure in the ace Flash would dispatch any opponent thrown at him.

why do you think Flash would have been sent out on ace?
preparing for ace matches requires you to practice three different matchups, Flash has no time to practice TvP even though the chances are quite slim of Fox sending out a protoss.

Hes sucked ever since stork raped him in WCG 2008, like a day before/after he got knocked out in incruit, etc. He had a lot of games in a very fast period and right around there his play began to falter. Who knows why.

The lineup was fine. Things just didn't work out this time.
815 and Violet got their best matchup.
As for forgg, I think they're trying to get him in shape so that Flash can have a rest coming up with some heavy games.

Well TvT is much easier to get a streak at than ZvZ too. In ZvZ one error means you lose the whole game. In TvT comebacks are possible and not rare at all.

Even though KT loss, I liked that they put what people called a "mediocre" lineup. It gives the other players more confidence and helps towards building an even stronger team. Also, if these players can play consistently, then Flash may have a match or two off for rest while the team will still be competitive.

If KT wants to experiment, send out Stats and one of their younger terrans.

I understand that they are old, but I've always felt that veteran players are like the glue of a team while the youngsters are the dynamic breaths of fresh air. Keeping the veterans sharp will always help the atmosphere of the team. Developing younger players is always a good idea as it makes your team deeper, but having in-form veterans can have the same effect just not for the long term.

Hardly a surprising result given the lineups.
Flash was going to kill Mind for sure, but the rest of it showed there was a very possible 3-1 coming. First off, Shine is very good at ZvZ and definitely should be favored against 815. If you've bothered to watch Shine's ZvZ, you'll know that besides his good results the quality of his ZvZ is excellent. Roro should easily be favored against a terrible player like ForGG who hasn't shown us anything meaningful for months. Violet is probably slightly favored over Pure, but as long as Wemade got that matchup they could feel pretty good about their chances at a 3-1.

815 was 9-1 in his last 10 against zergs including wins over Shine and Jaedong. He's always been an excellent ZvZer.
Violet is a major favorite over Pure. He was 11-2 in his last PvP, including 2 wins over Pure and a win over Bisu in his best matchup. Violet has a 68% in PvP, with only 48% for Pure. There's no "slight" favorite here; Violet is a thousand times better at PvP (among other things), but games don't always go to the favorite.
Forgg isn't the same player he used to be, but Roro never has been (Forgg as bad as he's been, still has a higher ELO). They're both mediocre players these days; there's no favorite anymore.

Yeah, KT losing was definitely an upset.
Flash does such a good job being KT's anchor, though. They never have to suffer humiliating 0-3 defeats, so they can always think "Hey, if we could have just won ONE more game, we could have cleaned up in ace". And in the rare instances Flash does drop his game, it seems to send his teammates into revenge rape-mode and they pull through for him.

Pure is really good at pvp, despite his tlpd..him beating Violet isnt a shocker as violets pvp isnt a thousand times better. Id only be worried about Pure vs someone like Stork or Bisu, and maybe like jangbi or kal.

stats mean jack shit in a matchup like zvz (argue for jaedong all you want but most of the time it's either superiority of skill or bo win)
pure is a really underrated player.
forgg always sucked and will keep sucking, especially when he is the underdog against someone like roro.

Lol, I kinda meant TvT so I guess BBS would be similar, but yeah, I feel like right now, if someone cheesed him, he would scout it right off, no matter where it is hidden, he is just that good.

Nowadays Flash plays in a way that cheese such as BBS most likely wont work, however I was thinking that 14cc may work against Flash, since he is playing a bit conservatively in the begininng.
