Light splits his army into two - half towards 8 and half towards 9. However, the half that went towards 9 is promptly sniped by Hydra/Lurker. However, when those Hydras and Lurks seek to do the same thing to the other half of the army, they're promptly melted.

Another Dropship is out for Light and drops in Shine's natural. A small MnM force is also taking out the 12 expansion.

Light gets all of his Vessels sniped by 4 Hydras while maneuvering his army around. However, 4 tanks and a good number of MnM are pushing up towards Shine's mineral only. Light brilliantly decides to let his entire army get Plagued and fight under swarm, so he loses most of his force without accomplishing much.

Light's tank numbers continue to grow, so it will be difficult for Shine to mount an offensive against Light's current position.

Light sends some of those tanks down to the 9 expansion and takes out whatever defenses were there with little effort. Meanwhile, two Dropships move down towards the 8 expansion. All of Shine's gas expansions are under fire, and he gg's.

Light builds his Supply and Depot in a Zealot-proof wall, then proceeds to scout around his base for proxies. Looks like he's going for 11/11 Rax/Gas.

Violet scouts after Core and then proceeds to hide his second Pylon the high ground above his natural.
