That's a great build, I tried it a few times back when I was experimenting with drops, it takes most of the tosses by suprise, especially on bs.

But if you don't macro well while harrasing (ie multitask), the easy gay 1a2a3a race will recover and get back in the game.

This is a good build and can definately make someone ragequit, the only downfall is that if you lose your first shuttle or he defends failrly well with few casualties then you are completely screwed. You will not have a big enough army to defend your nat, if you expanded already, or he can then just take another expo since he knows what you are doing at that point. Good build though, will work most of the time if it is a surprise build but if he gets obs after gate then its pretty useless. Unless you are playing on desti where a tank drop behind nat can still rape even if they know its coming.

Just played a game on andro with this, grabbing an island and my min only. my first drop wasnt so hot i did manage to kill 2 or so goons with mines and 6 probes (well maybe it was worth it. i also socuted his late reaver tech, and my wraith made quick work of that shuttle that went to expand on the island.

i dropped again latter below his min only which did minimal damage.

near the end dropped on the closed off section and managed to kill his gas, ended up rolling him a few mins latter with a booming economy

felt good considering he beat me 2x before that

Here's a nice game I just played using a fact/port opening on python. First drop sucked so I decided to keep pumping dropships and go for a doom drop. The big risk you take when you do this is you leave your base pretty much undefended. Usually the enemy doesn't know this though so I get away with it often...

Game is only at D+ level but both players are better than D+ I'd say.
