Fantasy probably has some magic up his sleeves (reminding me of the game on plasma last time around.), so we'll see what happens.
I think this will be an awesome finals to watch.
I hope Jaedong gets pushed, it's much more entertaining that way. | Forum Index > BW General |

I will definitely win in the finals and earn not Lecaf’s but Hwaseung’s first victory while winning my second starleague at the same time. Hasn't jaedong won two starleagues already? *goes to check TLPD* Yeah he did. He won the OSL and MSL. I suppose he means his second OSL. Well, to be totally rigid and serious business about things, the only StarLeague is OSL. OGN trademarked it.

I think they typically refer to the OSL as "starleague", so yeah.

Your nerves are racing and because there’s the desire to display your abilities I believe the race differences influence the matches. The more the match moves along passively, I believe in a tvz, the terran become more favorable. So true. I'm not saying the match-up is imbalanced but there are certain elements that shine in Fantasy's favor. As a Zerg you really can't be passive in TvZ. If Jaedong gives Fantasy too much respect, or starts to doubt himself even a little, it could turn bad very quickly. I think most likely Jaedong will win easily; but if Fantasy manages to hit him with something clever in game1 and gets him double-guessing then it could become a tense and exciting series.

Honestly I expect him to surprise everyone in the finals. While Jaedong is probably the most mechanically sound player to play the game he lacks one thing - that metagame sense that makes bonjwas possible. Fantasy is going to come at him with catered builds perfectly designed to take him down, and when JD finds he's going against something non-standard I bet we will start to see his immortality unravel. JD has said himself that practice practice practice is what has gotten him to the top. What will happen when he faces something he never practiced against? I'm sure the oov/boxer/fantasy think tank will pull something crazy out of the bag. ![]()
