Anybody remembers the story about ion)Probe / iD.Probe / ErOs_PrObE / Holland(ERDE)? He got accused of hacking. He got kicked out of his clan (Team iD) for it, tho there were enough people who said he didn't hack (like Drone, Daaman and some others if I remember correctly --a), so he kind of got rid of his hackerstatus. Anyways, he probably thought he let enough people in doubt and gave us the proof himself :D
He encountered some bm guy on WSL who didn't want to report some game they just played and shouted some stuff about him knowing an admin. If you make screenshots of this and send them to somebody of the WGTour staff, the person will be penalized for it. So Holland(ERDE) made the screenshots and sent them to an admin, but on the screenshots you could see he was hacking in that game (all minerals and buildings were still on the minimap). So he just sent his own proof of him hacking live in action to some admin ^_^;; Kakaka~ So funny. I gave him the advantage of the doubt before but now it turns out he's just one of em hackers~ Also kinda funny that he accused Cope and MiSo[SenSe] of hacking while he was a hacker himself T_T;;

actually smorrie i dled a maphack (gasp) to check out if probe could do what he did in the replay i mentioned before and he could but that right there is how u can hack and make it hard to catch. theres an option on it that will not remove fog of war but show whats under it (i dunno if i epxlained that properly) but it shows the whole map but still has fog of war kind of u can see things moving under it.
btw i deleted the maphack soon after O: its pointless to use them if u are ever gonna go to wcg or something --;

It would've been equally as easy for Probe to photoshop the minerals out of his screenshot.This is why the BW sentinel method of auto screenshots and auto sending them to the server is the only way to truely determine if somebody is hacking (unless of course the person does something retarded like Probe.)

First of all: I heard probe and he admitted, he's in my msn list and I had/have a good contact (or that's what I thought/think) with him. He said he didn't give a shit. By the way, why should I hear him if he suplied me the screenshots?
Second of all, yes I think that what dani did was not appriopiate, I have my own opinion about that, but I also have to adept wgtour's policy. Especially because he paid for WSL, we might get refund problems (might sound familiar here;) with paypal and all. I think a reset and a warning ("next time you'll be banned") does the trick. Some people need guidance in their journey into maturity...

to be perfectly honest, if im able to beat someone 90% of the times we play while he's hacking, and while doing cheesy stuff every game, I just don't really care about him hacking.

Rekrul, you _used_ to have the ability to IP ban. But you no longer do, meat removed that ability now only he has it. You can still id ban, just not IP ban. So anyone who wasn't banned by meat would have been unbanned whenever meat modified this.

I can remember two coincidences which were quite similar to this one in the German community.
1.) Some of you might remember Maddi[pG], he finished top3 in German WCG two years ago as Zerg. This hacking-accident happenened before replays were available: Somebody accused Maddi of hacking. Maddi said that he could not take any screens because his folder was full (99 screens). So he made a desktop-screeny of his folder.
Too bad that he captured the "maphack" folder along the 99 screens :D
2.) And maybe even less people might remember [DEF]Kosh, who was Germany's best player a long time ago, but also one of the most feared online-hackers and account-sharers at the time. Well, back then, community was still something different and there was always a brawl between the clans [DEF] and TheSheep, which were the best two clans in Germany back then.
There was also a community-server with a speed-7-ladder in which everyone participated, including the smurf "TheMarine" who led the ladder almost undefeated. [DEF]Korn accused him of hacking during a game. Kosh aka "TheMarine" made a screeny and sent it to Korn. Korn analyzed it and noticed, that "TheMarine" had drawn with paintbrush with some black color over the mineral spots because the black was not identical with the black fog of the undiscovered area (There are some codes for the colors in Photoshop, I think).
Without any hesitation, Korn posted everything in a community-forum without knowing, that "TheMarine" was Kosh. Soon IP-Tests were made and it turned out that "TheMarine" was Kosh which was even funnier than the painbrush-thing because the rivalry between TheSheep and [DEF] was so tense and the [DEF] guys literally fucked each other ;D

actually most of my friends already knew
i play without map now, just sucks. really the game is just so funny. however didnt map in every game. and i mapped for over 2 years so i didnt care at all, to be honest when i send the screenshots all i could do was laugh. I think its so funny, oh btw, sadist and midian dont get to "pleased" i know for sure i own you without a maphack. after 2 years you have a buildin maphack ^_^
anyway like i said you might be surprices about wcg2004. im sorry for the guys who wanted to defend me but, i wanted to play wsl before i admit i hacked. that way i couldnt admit it ^_^

this is the idea for antiHack. If anyone (jca for example) would make a program, that should be run by both players. The player, who thinks, that it was a suspiciuos action, he could make something like /w playerNick -test and the other program (running by this playerNick) should make a simple printscreen. And then after game, this playerNick should send all printscreens if first players ask ;] If he don't send - ban him. Then it will be no MH users in wgtour. But everyone should not play without that program. think of it !!

change the IP isnt so easy, you can call your ISP but they will ask a lot of question and a lof of them charge over $150 to do it or the other way is well, proxies but that will slow down your connection pretty much and its annoying.

Finding hackers: Blizzard just closed a bunch of hacking accounts. So they are reset to 0-0-0. Do /stats on the account of someone who you believe is a hacker. For instance, I did /stats darki[s.r]
wow, big surprise, 0-0-0. So I have increased belief that Darki[s.r] is a maphacker. However, this system doesn't prove maphacking. It only proves hacking. Blizzard considers APM live a hack. Some people who used APM live also got their accounts closed. Take it as you will, but keep in mind people who are willing to use illegal programs at all are less likely to have inhibitions about using map hack.
Hmmm if someone could post this in a new topic it would get more exposure. I'm new to this forum, so i can't post new topics. didn't jca explain on his site that APM live is not considered as a illegal program? anyway, i blieve in jca more than you.
I'm 100% certain that's not it. A friend of mine got reset, even though he's never used apm live, or hack, or any add on program (well, I dunno he might have used ladder speed hack - since a lot of koreans did for a while. Dont remember if he had any ladder games played).
