They've been around longer and developed more of a following. FF is prolly the Biggest name in continuing series (mostly because it's never ending) I'll agree, that i'm a bit shocked that FF8 won.. I too think FF7 was total brilliance and my fav. game. I'll also say that I do <3 SC/BW. It's my fav. comp game, fav. RTS, fav multiplayer game. SC is awesome. Pro-gaming is awesome. Protoss is awesome ^ ^ however, SC/BW is only followed by handfuls of guys from 14-30 age group. Final Fantasy is admired by millions worldwide, from men, women and children of all ages. Storytelling > just gameplay. going through a story, learning more about characters and deepening the plot is more rewarding and a greater experience than just.. duking it out street fighter style. Thats like saying Guitar Hero is 1 of the greatest games ever made.. All u do is play songs thats alrdy been out for 20 years.. | ||
