Jaedong (Season 1 winner) will play Bisu (Season 2 Winner) in a Bo5 Champions match @ 22nd february 10am CET (18KST the usual gom TV time)
This means: #1 Champion vs #1 Champion #1 PvZ vs #1 ZvP #1 Protoss vs #1 Zerg (well ofc after savior who will destroy every one this year beginning with himself) #1 KESPA Protoss vs #1 KESPA Zerg #1 KESPA vs #4 KESPA
It's kinda sad how JD vs Flash and JD vs Bisu all happen(ed) after their respective MUs have fallen off a bit. I'm hoping it will be entertaining, it really doesn't matter who wins in that case.
Jaedong has never been taken to a deciding game in a Bo5 (not that that's always a good thing). Also, what's the map pool and do both players get a thumbs down?
THE CRAZY KOREAN FANGIRLS WILL ALL GET NAKED AND SEX SHIT UP
I AM HYPED
dear heavenly father. I've never prayed in my life. Please grant me an epic bo5 which will go 3-2 idc who wins. Please let each game be an epic 1 hour long slugfest, after which both players are sweating from every pore of their body. OMG I WOULD ORGASM. LOVE YOU GOD

jaedong vs forgg, arena msl
Jaedong vs Rock, OSC for EVER 2007.
Edit: Oh dang, I am slow. Haha disregard that I suck cocks.
i've never been able to really get it up for these exhibition matches, just doesn't compare to the compete/care level that is in the real tournament matches when they have their eye on a prize at the end of a long road and fight their guts out to get the glory and the kespa points.
should still be fun though!
PS. this post wasnt intended to be a downer for anyone else, sorry if it came off that way! i still think it should be good times and fun

ohh that would be quite interesting, that in addition to the JD/KTY match would combine for quite a fleshy exhibition indeed.
looking forward to hearing if this is confirmed!
>> also one thing i forgot to say in my first post is that i am definitely excited for a chance for additional games commentated by nick/daniel during the season intermission. so that's a bonus about this event

Yeah... Destination doesnt seems to be a good map for pvz as well, thats why I expect bisu to thumbs it down if he has the chance http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/maps/188_Destination/games/ZvP lol, zerg totally figured out the map, pure domination in the last like 20 games (16-4)
Hoping for a 3-2/3-1 by Bisu. Even though his PvZ has been quite shaky recently, I think he'll do well. He tends to step up his game when there's a high pressure situation/money involved.
I never want to see jaedong lose, but I would like to see him avoid being tricky or creative. I think his best shot to 3/0 or 3/1 bisu is to play 3 or 4 straightup well timed macro builds.

Not really, since jaedong barring fast carrier, always dismantles bisu in the course of a long game.

andromeda anyone ? btw the games in arena msl were relatively short , standard zerg > 2base toss... so I respectfully disagree with you ...

Oh wow, I didn't know about this... two of my favorite players in a BO5!!! As others have been saying, don't care who the winner is as long as it isn't a 3-0 clean sweep as both GOM S2 semifinals were. 3-2 would be epic...

Sad but true (for me). Though do people still view Bisu as the #1 PvZ? I think it's in a transitionary period, only Bisu himself will decide that with his future performances.

Really I don't think there is a clear "#1 PvZ" at the moment. Maybe Bisu can reclaim it if he performs well again vs Z, but right now both best and (especially)free are doing better vs Z than him.

fixed
actually both best and jangbi have had mediocre PvZ as of late now that I look at it more. Both better results than Bisu though.

true. though there really aren't any protoss who are doing well vs zerg lately. blame the maps or their lack of adaptation to the more aggressive zerg style, we still have the same result. they need to step up their game
I'll still be proud of Bisu if he can get at least 1 game off of Jaedong. I know that Bisu is good PvZ, BUT he is against fucking ZvP RAPIST JAEDONG!!!!
Bisu's PvZ looks really great when he's pummeling lower level zergs, and I hope he can win. Unfortunately, his PvZ has been looking a little iffy against tougher competition though he still is an amazing multitasker.
