This OSL and MSL sponsors are kinda bleh. Seems like MBC was originally going after http://www.boram.com/ (huge Korean company), but why did they go with these guys... | ||

Also i think they are played differently, than most in the west. They play it with friends, and they smoke, in pc bangs and stuff. So thats why they are usually pretty simple or "grindy". Since they are like socializing while they are playing it, and just haveing some simple fun. I'm not 100% correct my info is true but still. Lost saga seems to be pretty original though, nice very colorful graphics at least. I hope they push it to europe too so i can check it out =D I want to see a McDonalds msl. =D That would be funny. | ||

Aww long gone are the days of Gillette, Duracell, Coca-Cola, Pringles and others. :[ yeah it was a game but the parent company who ran it was nhn games and nhn is a fairly large company in korea (they run naver, the nation's largest search engine among several other big things). so i still think they'd be considered among the old generation of 'big' sponsors. the recent trend of crappy sponsors is troubling =( the shitty economy right now as someone pointed out isnt helping and the pro scene isnt as huge as it used to be. hopefully better times will bring back sponsors and keep the game alive | ||

Korean MMO companies have a rough time recently because lots of new titles are doing as well as the market expected. Industry leaders such as NCSoft experienced game shutdown and laid-off in 2008. Anyway, I wouldn't mind if we have a Nexon MSL or Aion MSL soon. | ||
