EPTHowever this problem is very annoying and I wonder why this happens.
I'm on a Vista and I'm thinking this is why I'm getting this error.
But I did run as administrator and still..

Using a no-cd program. I used to use virtual CD for bw, and it caused this. and a few others although I can't remember ... its been 5-6 years Using pirated versions or alter bwed programs. And having programs that alter the bw registry. I don't know if you guys have done any of those, but I hope that helps. | ||

I downloaded starcraft from the blizzard store that error keeped happening - i uninstalled twice. then i dl'ed the .iso and yeah. still doesnt work >_< | ||

the only other thing i can think of is if you ran a crack copy of d2 and accidentally tried to connect to b.net, they'll temp ban your IP for like 2 weeks EDIT: orrrr, according to what the error message, says, you may have a computer virus. For information on detecting and removing this virus, you may contact us by email at support@blizzard.com lolololol | ||
