I know that they were really nervous (at least it looked like it) and, thus, they were really way too passive, but nevertheless. It's a long long way to go. If I listen to Daniel Lee's comments I guess that one main reason might be the fact that in korean proteams, you get the chance to not even play against the best all the time, but also to discuss strategical thoughts/ideas with people who are top notch. Like: What would be the best if this or that happens, how should I properly react etc.pp. Maybe one should up a high-level strategic forum, where programer vods/replays are systematically are examined and studied. But I fear that without the pressure of a progaming team coach, it will be to no avail. | ||

Although the commentary was interesting, the games were very one-sided. This also makes it difficult for Daniel to comment on a foreign player's skill level since by the time they reach mid game, the game has already been decided. That being said, I think it would be very interesting to see top foreigners matched up with practice partners; perhaps it would give them a better chance to show their strengths. edit: grammar | ||
