Anyways, with no replays out to ruin SC/BW, those days you had to work hard and pay attention. R.I.P the old school =] | ||

I feel like you randomly had all of those names already compiled on some word document from like 1997 - 2003 though. Heh. "Either Slayer or Pillars = #1 IMO." This is nowhere near true...during my prime I'd place myself among the top foreigners, but at no point was I ever the #1 foreigner. It was certainly very exciting to play the game 'in the dark' as it were, and to be part of the community while people were still figuring out optimal play. In some sense, naturally talented players had a greater edge back then since they could make up for slightly inferior technical skills with creative overall game plans / situational awareness / tactical ability.
