We've played bet games twice fisheye, I lost small once (~200 / game for a couple games) and then I didnt play you for months. I sucked you into some low stakes bet games when you were unpracticed and low rolled, you lost a few and increased the stakes (standard fisheye) and then lost some more. I think we played 15 or so games that time and you lose inbetween 1-2k. I have never played over 1k a game with anyone but elky and I am definitely up on life vs you.
Rekrul and I are pretty even, we've both dominated eachother at different times on different days. I think we each 7-0ed or 8-0ed eachother. I remember him doing it first and me matching him a month or two later. We could have gotten a lot more good games in vs eachother but after Elky came back to Korea there wasn't really much point.
Elky and I have probably played over 1000 bet games. It started at 100 a game but elky raised me to 200 and then 500 within the first few days. We regularly had days where we played 12 hours straight against eachother where eating and going to the bathroom was pretty unacceptable, the action was non stop. The stakes were quickly raised to 1k and sometimes beyond. I'm pretty sure elky and I have traded more starcraft betting action back and forth than all other starcraft betting between all other players combined. Rekrul and I have both gone on pretty significant streaks vs elky before with 10 game winning streaks being pretty common, I think Rekrul had a 15-0 session vs elky before but I am proud to hold the record of 20-0 in a single sitting.
The only person I am definitely down on life vs at starcraft is z-zone soo. He raped both rekrul and I 1 day after the other with pretty significant winning records. I think something like 10-1 vs rekrul and something like 9-0 vs me. We both felt pretty helpless after getting raped that bad but it should be noted it's not a TRUE starcraft betting game since soo picked zerg (true brood wars betting is random vs random).
That pretty much sums up my starcraft betting.

edited to add: I forgot Im down vs testie in a pretty sickening way as well. Dont remember the records but something ugly and ~2k total.

This doesn't make any sense, he didn't say he doesn't care, he says he doesn't think it should be lauded and cared about so much by others. If the proper attitude for something you didn't like was "stfu and don't say anything if you don't like it" then nothing would ever change.

I stated in my post that it's an obvious brag it's not like I'm walking around with my cock out saying look at me look at me I'm so cool. I made this post as a service to everyone on the site just as much as a service to my own "inflated ego."
Human beings enjoy stuff especially when theres something on the line. Especially money. That's just human nature. Imagine Artosis playing Incontrol in the finals of WCG USA with a 50k prize on TV and two much better players like Light[alive] and Chojja playing in dual tournament. Maybe not you, but if the average person had to choose to watch one only, I guarantee they are tuning into the Artosis vs Incontrol game for laughs, excitement, etc even though the two koreans will be a much more skillfull game.
Btw theres no such thing as too much money. And having it does not mean one is living a decadent meaningless life. Maybe you should re-look yours.

Anyways I really liked the bet games but burns a lot of time and I can remember days where I basically played whole days which in retroperspective were kinda lost time (unfortunately also money).

Fisheye your post is no problem and in no way worse than mine it's just that the way you wrote it makes you come off as a complete dick/asshole whereas I think the way I wrote mine doesn't (not as much atleast lol). Not implying you are one of course (even though you are cockier than me--don't deny it ;D). I know you were just trying to add more to the thread and clarify everything as it is fun to read about for everyone. When talking about any kind of high money matters in public even if bragging you need to somehow portray atleast some humility or atleast portray the fact that you know you're bragging to make people not hate you...thats the way it goes.
People read your little comment at the end of your post about your good poker session as "Yeah so you guys might be up on me in starcraft but I won fucking several thousand in poker today so I don't care suck my dick!!!" <---Thats pretty lame when the thread has nothing to do with poker.

i dont know Rekrul or anyone else mentioned in the betgames but i am a little offended by this line. i dont know what earning it the hard way means but i'm sure you didnt play poker seriously.
though its amusingly ironic to come to a starcraft forum and be bitter about a poker players meaningless life. i also think its really unfair to say this about someone elses life.
