The tiny insignificant detail that himurakenshin has nicely about for four pages now is something that shouldn't have even been brought up. Which begs the question why did he spend 25% of the thread arguing a point that didn't matter? There's no real answer to that other than it's the internet, people become stubborn and can't admit even their own obvious misunderstandings. If I was himurakenshin, I would've weighed the cost (looking like an annoying nitpicker to everyone reading the thread, especially to the staff and veterans) and the benefit (possibly proving a Moderator wrong on a minor point completely irrelevant to anything) and concluded that the best course of action would've been simply to shut the fuck up. However, I am not him, so now we have the last 4 pages which document his transformation from someone most people never really noticed into someone who is now known for his annoying nitpickery, all for basically no gain to the forum or himself (actually it's a loss, since it also sidetracked and killed the mood of this thread). | ||
