Hero, although obviously a competent ZvP-er is nowhere near the level of Soma and Zero in this matchup. If he can get past this hurdle and somehow Zero stumbles in his bracket he has a real chance to take it all. His PvP is probably the best right now, PvT has always been great and on these maps where the early game is pretty much unexplored he has all the tools to frustrate an inexperienced Terran (relatively speaking ofc) like JyJ or Rush. My wishlist Ro4: Mini - Zero Snow - Rush

Not a great draw for Snow, but he does have a decent record against hero of late. Probably going to come down to his ability to block early aggression. Rush should be able to take down Larva, though they play together a fair amount so there might be some weird mindgames. great post

Snow: If he beats herO, he can also very realistically take down Rush in what would likely be a very tough match for both. But against Larva I consider Snow to be the clear underdog because PvZ is his weakest matchup afaik. I'm giving him a small but decent chance at reaching the finals, but - due to the chance of facing either Larva or Queen - virtually no chance at getting 1st. He's up against at least one zerg, possibly three. The odds are heavily stacked against him. Larva: I'd consider him to be the wild card. Since his skill in every matchup is fairly even and he's had the occasional winning streak against some of the best players, he's always a contender for 1st place. Despite being the obvious underdog, he has a chance at beating Rush. From that point onward anything could happen. He'd almost certainly beat either herO or Snow and then it'd be pretty much a matter of luck in the finals, almost regardless of who he faces. Rush: Not much to say about him except he's one of the top two favorites to get into the finals. He has a good shot at getting 1st, but if he faces Snow and then either Queen or Best, he'll be in for a hell of a fight. That particular draw would be the worst for him. Anyone can beat him, but he'd be an underdog to no one. Mini: tbh I haven't seen much of him lately. To me he seems strong at times and shaky at other times. I think against Best it's pretty much a coin toss, and then he'll have to hope JyJ beats Queen or he's pretty much out of the tournament. If he somehow makes it into the finals against all odds, he'll likely have to defeat Rush, which isn't likely but could happen. Against Larva he'd be in for a painful beating, too. Only against herO or Snow do I see him having a good shot at the title. Either way, his biggest hurdle will likely be Queen. To conclude, I think Mini is one of the underdogs of this tournament, but I wouldn't put his chances at the absolute bottom. Best: If he beats Mini, he'll also likely face Queen. I see him doing a little better than Mini would, but still as the underdog. Otherwise I think he's pretty much in the same shoes as Mini. JyJ: Underdog to Queen, but can make it into the semis. I'd certainly advise people not to underestimate him, he's shown surprisingly good results. We'll see if he can utilize his skills well in his toughest match yet. If he does move on to the semis, he can also make it into the finals, and then again I don't see why he can't win the whole thing. He's a bit like Larva in that regard, he can defeat anyone. But who knows what his nerves will do to him. Queen: The other favorite to make it into the finals. If he beats JyJ, I'd put his chances of beating Best or Mini at over 80%. I can't say whether he'd prefer to go up against Rush or rather Larva, but I think those two are his main foes. What I think the chances at getting 1st are, from most to least likely: 1: Queen/Rush 2: JyJ/Larva 3: Snow 4: Best/Mini 5: herO

Mini has beaten Queen in a best of 5 in the past (long time ago though), and did beat him in a best of 3 in the group stage. I think he has always been fairly good at pvz, whereas Best is more noted more pvt. Also, apparently Mini is 14-3 or something against Best in recent sponmatch stuff.
