Bug report, in regards to the IP banning Since my post, I've had a couple others mention that it has happened to them too. I am guessing it's a cloud setting. I don't think that most folks realize what's happening. But I've noticed it's been reported several times as well as happened to me. I think there's several factors that lead to folks refreshing which the cloud provider may interpret to be malicious spam requests. 1. Seems your backend may be overloaded sometimes, eg busy, so a stack trace is returned instead of body, so a refresh is required. 2.Lots of folks refresh to see the game they just played which can take a minute to get pushed into the db. 3. Starcraft players have a tendency to spam keyboard commands such as refresh. And in addition to all that, it may only be affecting a subset of your users who have static IP addresses, where folks with dynamic addresses don't notice any issues, even after they get banned since they just get a new IP address.
