how do you use this? I’m on it right now but im gettin matched up vs foreigners still. i bought 2.99 credit and network all of is working fine. Any ideas?

No, VPN reduces your latency by utilising premium route. For example if you are not using VPN, and connecting to game server there may be around 10-15 hops but if you use VPN , the hops will get reduced to 4-7 depending on quality of network. you can try switchvpn which offers 3 day free trial , you do not require a credit card to sign up

Is there a link or a previous discussion on VPNs? It's using them because the Korean BW server is geo-blocked I assume, no other reason / advantages, right?

A VPN using a Korean IP will reduce your ping to Korea, and increase your ping to most other countries.

So you will be more likely to match against players living in Korea, and there will be less lag when you do.

Ensure that StarCraft:Remastered item is switched on in mudfish.
Use Asia region in Blizzard launcher.

I'm also using mudfish.

I am from SEA, and using gearup booster. It can only be used for games, but the quality is really good, and the price is dead cheap (1.5$ per month)

VPN is more beneficial for players located in Europe to match and get better latency with koreans.

If you are in seattle which is in the US you do not need VPN. You get matched mostly with koreans regardless of VPN. Latency will be the same or worse vs koreans with VPN for you. Best thing you could do for better latency vs koreans is to get fiber internet.
