I think the center bases with gas can only be secured much later in the game so protoss has the economic initiative for much of the game. Edit: the center bases are easier for terran to hold though compared to protoss because tanks are good at map control. its a complete joke 6 expands in center all u have to do is controll center protosss cant even get outside of the natural anymore | ||

From ASL games I think there was a healthy mix of wins/losses. There are also lots of advantages/disadvantages for both races. Also getting anywhere above 4 bases is gonna be rare. At that point Protoss may have made some good moves. | ||
