It's ret vs IdrA in a Bo5 series for money - can you ask for a better matchup at this moment? These two are the most in-form foreigners and here we get to see them battle it out in a Finals series. Absolutely worth a watch. + Show Spoiler [thoughts] +lol@ IdrA's playername...I haven't watched this series yet, but whoa take a look at that bracket - IdrA didn't lose a single game in the entire tourney. I hope the finals were good games though.
my opinion of the games:
+ Show Spoiler + I checked them out before going to bed yesterday so I kinda just scanned through them but the games seemed just like a (un)pretty big one sided rape. Huge props to winner though for making it look so easy against such an extremely strong opponent Btw. commentry done by ips.zero, a german player, some will find this annoying as his english is pretty bad, but at least it's someone who knows something about starcraft, so I still liked it better than most commentaries
spoiler spoiling the exact results: + Show Spoiler + wow so Idra didn't lose a single game in the entire tourney, including the freaking finals, now thats damn impressive

I feel his limited English kept him from going into a lot of detail on strategy (which I would have liked, but does demand a bit more vocabulary than straight play-by-play) but the upside is that it made him talk slowly and really think about what he was going to say. It was pleasant to listen to. I also really enjoyed how he seems to be super up-to-date on the scene, and was dropping references to things like IdrA-Tarson in GOM.

Eh... why is this recommended? Feels like a small piece of my soul died after watching that.

jaedong skyhigh its almost like every bisu/jaedong/flash game is recommended even though theyre usually just mauling their opponents + Show Spoiler +not particularily entertaining, it was pretty one sided all the way through

Yeah seriously I specifically uploaded this because I liked the commentary. Of course it's hard to do that in a foreign language, but content wise this is what I would expect. Knows what he is talking about, still not too deep into game mechanics, easy to follow, and enriched with trivia from the current foreigner and pro gaming scene. I only wish the IPS.ZeRo would cast games in German, instead of the clueless people at the ESL casts.

i wish ret vs idra could be uploaded on another server

Thirded! The commentary was better than the games, IMO.

I really liked his cast too. Very informative, strategic and the progaming gossip is a nice bonus.
