Yeah I think overall good performances from him.

Also while Flash just rolled hard as far as I am aware Stork was able to hide an expansion in both games. If he'd have had a bit of a breathing room it would have payed off. So I think the potential is there for him to be considered a dangerous presence again after all these years.

I thought JangBi and Stork were on good terms seeing as they frequently appeared together in the Ajae leagues (although FBH may have been instrumental)

They are on good terms now, is what I've read. They also appeared together on OGN's Remastered Replay Master show.

Ahh that is good then! I know there was fighting because JangBi felt mistreated by his team, which wouldn't give him the highest pay and some other benefits despite beeing by far their best SC2 player, a lot better than Stork.

Beeing mistreated by Samsung is why he eventually left iirc? Which is kinda sad because he was one of the only pros who seemed to like SC2, he even played it in his free time in like 2010/11 before the switch just for fun. Well ultimately I hope that that just means he will become great at BW again and we have the two Samsung Tosses back <3

I just need my FlaSh stomping Yeong-mu back and it would be even better if Byung-gu got his Commander skills back too.

A revival of Samsung PvT is exactly what we need in this era of Terran dominance!

My recollection is that the whole thing started with the Jin Air or tving OSL finals when Jangbi asked not to play in PL. This wasn't well received by Stork who didn't receive any special treatment when preparing for Bacchus, and then it turned out that wasn't entirely true either. The SC2 thing was where it culminated.

But as I mentioned I read somewhere, probably by one of our very own Korean correspondents, that once Jangbi finished his military service they met up, talked, ate, drank, and made up so now all is well.

Those moves Stork did near the end of the game. Like avoiding mines with shuttles and aimed shots where awesome. Even though he lost the games where still great to watch.

Yeah, that was classic Stork, loved it.

Ladder log | 2017-09-01

Aside from playing at the inven fest he also streamed a bit. There's not much to post about as none of the matches were that noteworthy and most matches ended early- to mid-game. (Except [there's always an exception]: Is JDyeyo a handle for the JD? From Stork's comments it seemed like it is. Here's the match.)

Just as much as losses were due to comical mistakes the wins were due to his superior execution. So what's going on there? He can't seem to escape this duality. An example of this was a back-to-back encounter against some T. First ranked match the T was not even close to defend the push and gg'd. Next he went for an early pressure again but then as the game went on he threw away his army for 7-10 waves against a defensive Terran and then lost out as the game went on. It seemed like he never had the right composition.

Luck wasn't on his side either, as he didn't manage to play any mirror matches while his bracket is full with notable toss players.

I don't think there's any need for me to theorycraft here any further as The Big Day dawns soon.

GL HF!

My boy sSak defending the SKTT1erran heritage in that spon match then! I'm happy sSak won, I'd be a traitor if I didn't, but seeing Stork head back on form is great. I'm really excited for how he does in ASL4!

Yes JDyeyo is JaeDong, his other two handels are 2JD and aroundtheworld!

Well if it is very stupid mistakes but not clear inferiority that keeps him from winning then atleast thats something that is fixable, overall I remain pretty positive, I think he looks better right now than he did a while back!

Oh cool Stork is close to 2900 which would be a huge personal best. After today's loss this should give him the confidence boost to go down to Daegu and win I hope.

At this point every other TBLS member is in there. Would be a shame for the commander himself to miss out.

Cloud-saved replays put to good work by Stork:

He's rewatching his matches from today's Daegu qualifiers.

Now playing: Stork v Sorry match 1
