I don't have time right now to get a screen shot and write up a nice article about it, though it deserves one. I might do later and post it at ScLegacy - get me a couple of nice screenshots someone, will credit) but finally a movie with short intro & credits, decent content and a new style. He abuses effects a little but I actually liked his somewhat tacky abuse - made it fun.
9/10 in my books, into my collection.
Objective of movie promote TDFRANCE.org and the French Terran player Plasma.
Result: Successful.

the moves arent really nice, just mines exploding into goons without obs and him attackmoving with 200/200 tanks into a 120/200 protoss army
theres even an excerpt where he 'brags' that he doesnt micro "no micro k?"
the editing is nice though

Very good editing in the video... Some very funny moments, and the bloom effect is so cool on rockets from valks and golies... 8/10

IMO that guy was shit, seriously.
I've probably went against many D rank PGT people who are better than him, half the time he doesn't do shit and the opponent just does retarded things.
Best editing/scenes I've seen are from Quake 3 movies, download any of the top DLed/favorite Q3 movies on www.own-age.com
Most of them are mindblowing and amazing.

# Larva You are unfair though, he is not a D player by any standard; even though the movie is just movie about StarCraft, we can't all be Boxer. Now if you really think this movie is shit then you probably think all our movies are shit. Give me an example of a movie from own-age.com that impressed you as gosu, and I will check it out. Might be good exercise for our movie makers too.

FPS and RTS videos are completely different. Whereas in FPS you have much more "visceral" scenes such as rocket launchers, headshots, aerial flying, etc... In RTS most of the highlights are more strategical or micro-based. It's much easier to edit and compile "cool" Q3 scenes than for a 10 year old 640x480 RTS game...

Very entertaining, but not impressive skill-wise. I loved the UT2K4 announcer voices used since that is my fav FPS game of all time

Maybe you would like to point out specifically what you didnt like about the movie, rather than just saying it was shit? Because otherwise, your post kind of sucks =(

Basically like that "no micro k thx" or whatever was pretty retarded. I mean the scene was pretty cool but that comment kinda ruined it. Sometimes, the action was pretty passive and otherwise sometimes kinda seemed pointless. Also theres one drop where he lost most of his units while the Protoss lost only a few zealots and maybe like a shutle or something that wasn't really impressive. The only thing I thought that was cool was when Plasma was blue, sent in SCVs then rushed in, that I liked. Either way, I was being too harsh, sorry. The editing was good but I think scenes like the probe and scv blocking each other's way for a while (like showing it for like 30 sec was useless) and other times where no action took place for a while was annoying for me, I don't know.

I thought the SCV/probe scene was planned out to show them dancing. Like an intermission. Like I said, very entertaining. I liked it a lot.
His skills were shown when he blocked the ramp with medics a couple times and his usage of mass idle SCVs. Otherwise nothing special.
Still... final word is any BW fan will be entertained watching this.
