didn't wanna be a debbie downer but tvt is absolutely the worst matchup in bw pvp can be a little bit exciting and at least zvz ends fast tvt takes fucking forever, there's almost no tense micro, and no matter who wins it wasn't exciting zvp and tvz are the most fun to watch pvt is alright mirror matches kinda blow | ||

I didn't like TvT much, but couple of good games hooked me up and now I enjoy it more than PvP, which I think is truly boring. TvT is BW chess. | ||

Don't think you will notice that if you actually play the matchup. There will be many things to do to keep you busy during the game. (Expanding,harassing,blocking harass, keeping check of front lines, more turrets, tech switch to air etc.) And as a spectator you will appreciate it only if you can notice strategical value behind the player moves rather than watching it like some action movie | ||

(EDIT: Okay, it's not actually boring. Like someone said, many enjoyable aspects of TvTs are like go/chess. But the thing is, when I want to watch a game like go, I just watch go.) It's pretty darn awesome when players with different styles face each other, like Boxer vs iloveoov in the OSL finals. The semis were pretty entertaining because the styles of the players were sufficiently varied. It think it will also be the case for the finals. I'm also curious as to what kind of cheese will be attempted for the sake of (or just taking advantage of) BO5 mind games and when. | ||
