Imbalanced map, and cheese. I would hardly say bisu played far better than flash.

cheese is something that fails if scouted. bisu put his proxy right in the path of the scout that would come from flash's base. he had no intention of hiding it. therefore it's not cheese.

Yeah, it's a shame Flash threw the game away by cheesing.

I just watched the VOD for fun again and realized something. Maybe I'm just slow to realizing this and it's already been discussed but I think Bisu made the citadel in his natural before he made the one in his main. In the VOD, the citadel in Bisu's main is finished ~12:30 on the OGN timer. But according to http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Citadel_of_Adun legs takes 133 seconds to finish. Bisu's attack when looking at the minimap started at ~13:50. That's only ~80 seconds after the citadel in the main finished.

In my opinion, Bisu made the second citadel in his main to trick flash into think legs wouldn't be done for a while. So Flash looking at the timing of the citadel did not expect such a fast speedlot push.

Just an observation from watching the VOD.

EDIT: pfft.. Math...

Wow really? o.O Bisu is even more awesome than i had thought, if this were to be the case :3

And given that to be the case, Flash really didn't have any reason to "respond" to the Speed Zeal counter.
Look. Only Forward. See. Only Victory.

According to Wikipedia, stadium's max capacity is 7500 people. I think around the third of the bleachers were used, so that's 2500, and around 400 people in the middle, on the court, so that's close to 3000 in total.
It doesn't sound a lot for PL Grand Finals, but the atmosphere was incredible.

Yeah, I can imagine (read your blog about it). But still, compared to over 100k a few years back, 3k feels pretty depressing for a PL Grand Finals. Anyway, the games were as good as ever and thats whats important

Well even in 2012, I think that PL Grand Finals is still the only event that can reach #1 on Twitter and search engines for a whole country. Hell, I even heard HoeJJa was #4 after his game ! We may have had a small venue, but popularity is still here for sure.

I had to verify to believe it ............ HOLY SHIT

That explains Flash's apparent "carelessness" or "lack of gas for vulture upgrades" which doesn't make much sense.

Hi I think Liquipedia lists time in normal game speed, so the actual build time is about 3/5 as long as what liquipedia lists. So zealot speed only takes about 80 seconds.

If that's the case.. Then this is less climatic.. But even still, the destroyed citadel would have been Flash some sort of idea that legs didn't finish or had to be delayed. I still think Bisu built the citadel in his natural before the one in his main..

You are almost right. I re watched the VOD once again. Bisu builds a citadel in the main at 11:58. I think that was just a normal play. Then Flash pushes behind his main, and tanks start shooting at the core and Bisu builds another citadel at the natural at 12:34 while the first one is not complete yet. The key point here is that Bisu could have canceled his citadel and get back a non negligible 113 mineral and 75 gas, but he didn't. He wanted Flash to see it destroyed not long after it finished to wrap.

Good catch man ! I feel like I need to edit my battle report now.
At least I hope that we won't have anyone saying that Bisu made tons of zealots just because Flash killed his core anymore.
