The tension right before and during Ace matches, the change of pace and star factor during Winners League and Grand Finals were literally the most awesome aspects of Proleague. Now two of these things are gone for good and the GF is gimped a little being just half a year thing. I will wait and see how it turns out in the end, but I'm definitely not pleased with those changes...not with a single one. | ||

I kinda agree with your take on SC2 + Proleague. I can´t however understand all this: "OH NO BW IS DEAD" stuff. I mean is it so dead that you are already counting how meny seasons are left? Yes BW will die eventually and i mean this should be no surprise to eny1. I´m just hoping that, if BW goes out, it does with a BANG! cuz the thought of having BW dying slowly and being rememberd as something unspectacular pains me. And i hope when BW is gone SC2 takes over its place more then eny other game. | ||

Not really a supporter of the no ace match system; I guess I understand why they did it but I don't like it. But, on the other hand: PROLEAGUE IS CONFIRMED!!!! | ||

I get the feelimg that there is a motivation to lessen the burden for players, especially Aces. Ace matches means practicing multiple matchups for an extra map, Winner's League format means practicing miltiple maps. And of that wasn't enough, SL practice. | ||

There was a thread here a couple of weeks ago where someone translated that KeSPA did a poll asking the Korean netizens regarding how Proleague should be run in this coming season. IIRC, Bo5 was the leading option, but whether KeSPA did use the poll result for this coming season's Proleague format, we wouldn't know. | ||
