KT Rolster's Flash will have his personal therapist accompany him to Shanghai
KT Rolster’s Flash will be accompanied by his rehab therapist as he faces the upcoming Proleague finals in Shanghai, China.
The Shinhan Proleague 10-11 finals will take place in Shanghai in 6 days between SK Telecom and KT, and KT’s Flash will be accompanied by his own personal rehab therapist.
Flash, who has been complaining of his right arm’s condition since early this year, was not able to partake in the last part of the 6th round of proleague as he received treatment. KT is paying for Flash’s personal therapist’s travel expenditures as well as accommodations in China. Flash, who was consistently receiving massages as well as treatments even throughout the post-season, will therefore also have his personal therapist with him at the Shanghai finals.
KT has said, “Because Flash complains of pain after long practice hours, we’ve decided that it would be best to have his trainer in Shanghai with him as well. Flash needed someone to loosen his muscles after practicing, and we thought if the person who was treating him in Korea accompanied him he would be able to feel internally more at peace facing the upcoming finals, so we decided on this”.

yes it's 100% recoverable but i think they mentioned he would need to take considerable time off? like at least 2 months? that's why he's only planning on fixing it post-season. for now i think he's just aiming to relieve the symptoms.

Hope he just pulls out of the individual leagues after the Proleague final, but somehow I doubt he will.
Thanks for the translation. Flash playing so well with his injury is very impressive. Even though I don't know how bad his wrist is, it is a sign of dedication and mental fortitude to be able to practice normally under those circumstances.

Dude, most players can't afford to have personal therapists follow them around. I'm not faulting Flash for his work ethic, but neither can you fault someone for safeguarding their health.

Fighting through the pain in this case is stupid. Injuries like this can become lifelong ailments if a person doesn't rest in addition to rehab. It's great to watch Flash play but it's not worth it for him to keep going at his current pace if it's going to have long term health effects down the road

He's gonna go rehab during offseason and maybe doing round 1 if he needs a full 2-3 months without playing
