KR->CN->EN translation
Let me know if it's a bit off.
KR source: Kim Yang Joon Park Yoong Woon
CN translation: Coaches
WeMade Fox
Kim Yang Yoong: We will be more thoroughly prepared in the next set.
Give us an evaluation of the games today. ▲ No matter how well prepared we are, it still comes down to a bit of luck. Overall we were very very unlucky today, and the players were a bit unprepared in some areas. However, today's loss doesn't mean that we have already been eliminated. We will work on our flaws for the next set and be more prepared.
Was sacsri in the first match aimed at taking out a Protoss? ▲ I was sure that the opponent would not be terran and only prepared for Zerg and Protoss. Although sacsri is a decent player, he still lacks experience. He doesn't detect and make decisions that he would normally make during actual televised games because of pressure and nervousness.
You couldn't defeat the post-season undefeated 2B's (Bisu & Best) ▲ Pure played very well. He just made that a fatal mistake in that final decisive engagementall-in battle (this is the correct term for it.) You could say that he gave the victory away. And Midas didn't time his offense very well. If we didn't make these mistakes, we wouldn't have lost. Tomorrow, I am certain our players will win.
Baby lost and left the team in a bad position. ▲ Baby played too standard, and couldn't keep up with his opponents changing strategy. But it's more important that he doesn't lose his confidence.
What's your thoughts on tomorrow? ▲ In the Round of 6 against MBC, we also lost the first set and took the two others. This time we will improve our strengths and work on our weakness, and definitely win tomorrow.
SK Telecom T1
Coach Park: For a better semifinal, we will end the match tomorrow.
What were your thoughts before the games? ▲ I thought it would be easier than playing against CJ. WeMade has only one Protoss, so it's easier for us during practice, and morale was really good before coming to the arena.
Any critical games? ▲ In the first four games, as long as we came away 2-2, we would have a sure way to win. But we didn't imagine Soo and s2 taking down easy victories, and that gave us initiative and control of the opening set.
It seems like you didn't expect a Zerg in the first game. Is that true? ▲ We thought about it a lot but we thought that Kim Yang Joong overthinks. Baby always comes out for them on Roadrunner and our first game was on Roadrunner, so we believed that Kim Yang Joong wouldn't dare use Baby on that map.
Was Soo's victory the most valuable of the set? ▲ I was very worried because Soo lost some self-confidence after losing against CJ. He often has the problem of not being able to fully display his abilities in actual matches. But generally speaking, those two losses gave him extra motivation. On top of that, Coach Cha Ji Hoon specially targeted him 24 hours a day and worked out his psychological kinks very quickly.
The two B's have won all 9 games. ▲ The people around them have been of great help. Coach Kwan Oh Hyuk has helped them a lot, and in their own right, they are players who are virtually unbeatable when they are at the top of their game.
Can you guarantee that you will win tomorrow? ▲ Losing on the first day in the Round of 6 has helped us a lot. Even though we won today rather easily, we can't let up. In tomorrow's games, we have to focus our concentration. Add in the fact that STX is lying in wait eying their challenger, so we have to end this match tomorrow.
special thanks to Milkis for the name.

!! I love the SKT1 coach! Also, interesting results T_T SKT1 my #2 team :D

I think its supposed to be couldn't? Minor typo, but it changes the meaning of the sentence. Just letting ya know

Wow did SKT undergo some training staff changes or something? They were slumping a while ago and now all u here is "yea we had some awesome coaches that helped them out". Maybe explains why they're winning? Suddenly SKT zergs start doing well, SoO wins, Bisu ends his slump, Fantasy ends his slump, and Best brings up his game too. All came together at the right time for them I guess

Damn. Caught it before I could fix it.
It's fixed now with some other changes too.

Thanks. The coach interviews are always interesting.

thanks tangeng, i really hope wemade gets it together lol
everytime i see the sk coach he gets balder and balder lol. must be a really stressed guy lol

I gotta say, SKT has a sick coaching staff and Coach Park is quite a baller (getting balder too, yeah). I expect SKT to steamroll both Fox and STX

Thanks TanGeng!
I hope someone can do player interviews too

I'll feel a little silly if WeMade eliminates SKT1...
But it seemed obvious to me since Playoffs were decided that SKT1 vs. CJ would determine who plays against KT. STX/MBC/FOX simply aren't in good shape at present.
I wish Khan and Oz had made Playoffs.

I totally agree with this. Oz was showing some really good form, especially at the end. Its a shame that they weren't doing so hot in previous rounds

Coach Park could fulfill the role of an evil genius / villain very well if he wanted to.
Unfortunately with his haircut and polite interviews he comes off as way too cute and lovable.

WHAT? I don't see what's the problem here.
Haha. I love cocky SKT1 fans.
And I like the coaches interviews more. They always have more interesting things to say. I'll take a shot at the player interviews if no one gets to it in a few hours. Or I might not.

On top of that, Coach Choi specially targeted him 24 hours a day and worked out his psychological kinks very quickly. ---> There's also the part where Coach Cha was with him for nearly 24 hours a day [T/N: "All Day"] and helped him.
Normally Chinese translations get the details wrong so don't get so caught up on the details

Is it Coach Cha? Nice to know. What is his Korean name?
The Chinese was annoying because they mistype stuff once or twice an interview (kind of like what I do) and I have to replace it with a homonym in order to make the sentences work.

Wow - this man can totally read his counterpart on the other team.

Wouldn't have known that Doctor. K would have proved so valuable - but can't argue with results. And it's true, at their best, Bisu and Best are unbeatable! (Best is learning to PvZ! Best is learning to micro! And Bisu taking some tricks out of Best's monster macro playbook too!)

Interesting - something to shake them up and help them not become complacent. There's still a long road to the championships, hoping the players don't wear out too quickly.
Thanks for the translations.

The head coach had no faith in SKT Zergs...
Are there player interviews? O.o

All came together at the right time for them I guess SKT got a new Zerg coach, and he pretty much got the SKTZergs to stop sucking. Doctor.K is the protoss coach of SKT, and Bisu went through some special training to end his slump(I heard they hired a psychologist to help and such). Zergs are definitely up because of the coaching, Protoss probably are as well. Judging from the few seconds he was there in Oldboy, Doctor.K seems to be pretty good at coaching. Fantasy has oov+Boxer to train him of course. Is it just me or does it look like the WMF coach is making fanboy-like excuses for his losses? Generally they would say that they underperformed and they'll bring a better game next time.

SKT, always the innovator of eSports, be it timing Build Orders or hiring race-specific coaches and psychologists. These guys deserve to win PL beyond any other team

What Coach Park said
It seems like you didn't expect a Zerg in the first game. Is that true? ▲ We thought about it a lot but we thought that Kim Yang Joong overthinks. Baby always comes out for them on Roadrunner and our first game was on Roadrunner, so we believed that Kim Yang Joong wouldn't dare use Baby on that map.
What s2 said
- Who were you expecting FOX to send for the first set? ▲ s2: Since BaBy has a good win rate on Roadrunner, I practiced mainly ZvT to snipe BaBy, but I didn't rule out the possibility of having to play a zerg.
Um, so Coach Park knew Baby wouldn't be sent out but had s2 mainly practice ZvT to snipe Baby. You can't have this both ways.

I dont think you understand the concept of "Mind games".
we thought that Kim Yang Joong overthinks
and now they both give completely different statements. Coach Park is going to see these interviews and be like... okay so which way was it. Were they expecting him or not. Should I use Baby on a map he knows or not. What. Explosion.
: )

Coach Park Knows how to motivate, he has a strong character and always sends this strong confident vibe even if the players are losing.. SKT strengths come form clutch moments when they really have to win they find the way to win and motivate themselfs. Although i Still belive that KT was more consistent they dont have the depth SKT has when the Zergs win, If only 1 zerg wins then the whole team makes it through, i guess its inspiring. I hope Coach Park continues with this attitude towards their Zergs they still have to prove them selfs as a integral and very valuable asset to the team.

I just think Coach Park is trying to sound like he had some genius prediction even though what he had s2 practice for says otherwise. Hindsight is 20/20.

Flash (motherfucking flash), violet, forGG, stats, and hoejja is probably the deepest lineup in the league when they preform as well as they can.

Coach Park is so fucking beast. He won PL for us last year, he will again this year!
