The finals will be held at...
Gwang-Myeong Indoor Gymsorry that's the best image I could find
When is it? April 3rd (Saturday), at 5pm KST!
Hey MrHoon, I live in seoul how do I get there?! Go to the Gwang-Myeong Intersection Station on Line 7! (광명사거리역). After that take a cab or something lol.
How many seats are there at the Gwang-Myeong Indoor Gym? 4000, which is 1000 less than the previous OSL finals
However, that's 3000 more than the MSL finals (DO-HO-HO-HO)
Who's going to cast the finals, MBCgame or OGN? I believe MBCgame does SWL considering Teamleagues were their format afterall.
How many teams play in the Playoffs? Top 4, BO7, 4th plays 3rd, winner plays 2nd and tada finals
Why does this burrito taste so damn good? Why.
Is lemonwalrus actually a lemon or a walrus? lemonwalrus has no lemons. He lies!
pachi pachi pachi pachi pachi? pachi.

Is there any correlation between Winners League and ProLeague, or are they completely separate? As far as I know, ProLeague just ended without any finals, then Winners League started. What's up with that?

Winners League will contribute to the overall Proleague.
Proleague consists of five rounds, in which round 3 is in the winners league format. After all 5 rounds the top teams will square off in the major playoffs.

And Winners League playoffs doesn't matter in the overall proleague, it's just an additional trophy to get.

Proleague did not end, WL is one of the 5 rounds in PL. The playoffs dont count in normal PL, but the wins in the regular WL round count towards PL wins.

never understood the lemonwalrus thing..

Really? This seems kind of dumb. Shouldn't it be something like: 1st seed plays 4th, 2nd seed plays 3rd, then winners meet in finals?
Why are 1st and 2nd seed punished for being good by having to play eachother right away?
|
No, most teams in the chart have just one game left (their records add up to 10 and they only have one match scheduled in Week 7 - exceptions are MBC, hite, KT and Oz).

3rd seed vs 4th seed
(winner of previous) vs 2nd seed
(winner of previous) vs top seed -- finals

Oh I see, sorry. That makes more sense, then.

Looks like KT is secured for the finals no matter what ^^. Unless MBC pull off 2 more all kill and KT losing their next two matches
|
Isnt that kind of a small venue? I'm honestly curious if this indicates a drop in viewership or what..
|
Seems like the rest of the WL won't matter regarding who's Top 4 then right?

Anyways, if I'm not mistaken, OGN covered last year's WL playoffs as I do recall watching off L1. However, I might just be getting old and my memory might be failing.
PS: Lemonwalrus IS a liar. He's neither walrus nor lemon.

What will they call it when flash gets consecutive all-kills throughout the entire finals? Will it be called a Mega-kill?
|
KTFlash should take this one no doubt

CJ: 2-8.

KTFla Flash can't get more than one all kill if they get seeded into the final.

Will the final work like last year, over two legs?

That was proleague finals. Winner's League finals was only one match.

both stations cover the playoffs. iirc MBC host the 3 vs 4 game and the final, and ogn host 3/4 winner vs 2.

Which team is going to win the WL finals? KT Rolster

Watching this live !! its on saturday and on start of the month just perfect !
Hoping for KTF vs MBC finals theese are the teams that deserve to be in the final.
|
Ahh, so SKT is out this time around.
We'll get to see MBC against KT soon, which is a potential final. Woonjing wont take STX. Seems like both STX and MBC are fitting opponents (better than the rest anyway) to take out flashKT, and that seems like a long shot as it is.

Won't be able to say for sure if this is a step up/down until I see the venue the day of, but I want to say this is a step up compared to last year.

This thread has a link to some info about the WL finals venue from last year, says the total capacity is 4,618.

sorry guys I worded it odd What I meant to say is MBCGame will be casting this LIVE IN THE STADIUM OGN will be casting this in their own stadium, but not at the finals stadium
So if you guys want to get more UMPH out of the finals, go watch it on MBCgame

Flash gets plenty of ultra kills, just watch game 3 of calm vs flash in the last OSL

I'd love to see a non-KT team win 4-3 or 4-2. Something very similar to last year's finals.

I guess I remember it feeling so small because they didn't use the upper level of the arena much if at all, so there's no way they had it filled to capacity. Hopefully that will be different this year and the atmosphere will be even better

How many teams make it into the playoffs/which teams are seeded from last season if any?
|
Were the top 4 teams decided on their cumulative stats or just from Round 3?

just round 3. remember, this is winner league finals, not proleague finals

The last WL Final was kinda disappointing in the sense that the turnout wasn't all that great for some reason.
Hopefully this time, the place is at its full capacity.

Last WL finals there was meant to be a b-boying performance to kick it off, but one of the Kespa bods told me it was cut because of time constraints. I got to see it in the rehearsal and it was pretty cool. I doubt they'll have a live band doing the opening, but I wish they would.
I'll be updating live from the scene with photos/video etc so I'll keep everyone posted possibly via Vent like I did at the Nate MSL finals.

lol if I go... would I actually have a seat?
I'd feel like a dumbass if I'd go all the way out there and realize there's no room and be forced to watch the Winner League Finals from a PC bang stream.
|
Ok. Proleague Finals or clubbing in Hongdae with a clothing model and her model friends?
Good problem to have, but FML nonetheless.
...or both somehow...
