sc people are cheap and they dont want to pay $5 for a tournament. therefore the wgt people do not make enough money to organize such a tedious thing. so they give up.

and thats just my guess.

prizes sucked simply becuz there were not enough participants. one cannot count on wgt to take money out of their own pocket for prizes. and one should not blame wgt for making money out of it either. but sadly many people did both.

if i remember correct it wasn't the lack of participants that resulted in a bad prize pool,but rather it was the wgt admins taking some of it.which is also why gundam got pissed off after winning season 1,and never played the rest of the seasons.

but then again,i usually don't remember correct

If wgtour staff change the format, do it similar to tlt, not and speed ladder, a 2 month or so competition, i think more ppl will join it, and get more prices :S

initially they made it sound like if they got anything beyond minimal participation, the prizes could be *much higher*. but they paid minimum despite the huge ass amount of ppl.

couldnt have said it better.

they think wgt admins are all very nice people. they should plan, start and organize such a big worldwide paid tournament, that all enrolllment fee should be used for prizes. and they should get none or minimum profit despite of the fact that they have been paying cash out of their own pocket every single month for tens of thousands of members.

yeah, using people'ss own statements to the public against them! how disrespectful! it's not like they MISLEAD PPL TO GET MONEY FOR THEMSELVEZ or anything

and yes i know they lose money with wgtour. this is an ongoing choice in their lives and had nothing to do with wsl at all. wsl they made different promises up front, all of which bent and bent into something totally different. they basically decide to steal from wsl because they are fucking themselves with shitty wgtour.
