Sorry Mike you know ilu <3 MONA WHEN THOSE VIDEOS COMING UP?! man, our match against rutgers was pretty random and sad all around =/ Lol I think it was awesome, had an epic close game first with Clazz making stupid mistakes while high, two curbstomps that showcased 1. pro vulture micro 2. pro ling burrow and 3. pro zerg macro and then another crazy wtf stoner match to end it all.
All started with a PvT on python that boiled down to zealot/probe rushes and tank/scv/vulture attacks.
Ended with a maphax PvP match and a 4v1 team melee.
Good shit.

i think the anger youre feeling towards capo is wrongly directed at peter.

Uvic definitely has the easier side of West conference. Im not knocking on their skill level, but it would have been nice to balance out a little more. Since UCSB and UCSD are really good schools and they were clumped on the bottom of the bracket.
However, here is hoping its a Uvic vs Texas West final. However, UCSD definitely will bring Texas to 2-2 and we probably have to decide it in the ACE.
Whoever wins the finals, we hope the games go smoothly and are GM. I can't believe some players act like they do during in-game matches and say things that reflect poorly on a school. Cheers for Mona, Xeris, and Darthien for holding such an organized tournament.

there was no rule of subs of same race last year. I dont get what you are saying, pete dodged because he didnt want to play a tvt when he asked my race, since he wanted to play tvp, tvz. Capo playing t does not matter.
edit: also your_killer, I am a lot worse than capo and the same race. There was a reason capo is always put in and i am not.

There was a reason capo is always put in and i am not. that fact is besides the point. i just think theres too much room for abuse with subs. for instance, if you have 2 zergs of similar skill but one doesnt like zvt or something, a team can just have him not show up and replace him with another zerg who is better at zvt.
obviously you guys probably were not intending to do that, but i think it is a possibility in future matches if subs are allowed.

What do you hope for "balance"? If UCSB(1B, eliminated in playoffs R1) and UCSD(2B, got a free win in playoff R1) are "really good schools" and should be saved somehow, who are not in playoffs?

The Mike Chen effect is D- *

Which is why there aren't playoff subs allowed this season. zz.

moto hasn't done anything bannable-worthy in the CSL, therefore we don't exclude him. What people do in their personal lives / outside the CSL isn't our business o.O. It'd be up to the team coord/coach to disallow him from playing. He has BM'd once in the last reg season match, but that by itself isn't immediately bannable.
