Pretty much 'the better' maps will get used in PL, as for the OSL schedule I think the draws are rather disappointing from a spectators point of view. Looking forward to Mind vs Flash and Hyuk vs Leta

Nice to see that they've kept Outsider and HBR. Too bad Desti is gone, though.  The new maps seem decent.

I swear they're gonna release a map in the future that's called "Tornado" in English just to confuse us (current map Tornado is a translation from Korean).

Group F: Light - even tho this one is a toss up - Movie, Light, Hero - each 3 capable of raping this group easily if they have a good day. Now if all 3 are gonna have a good day this is gonna be a really NICE group.

Group H: Firebathero - Yes, Jaehoon is THAT bad vs Terran.
Group I: Hwasin
Group J: EffOrt
Group K: Leta - not an easy group tho.

I'm disappointed Tornado made it - I think it'll play more or less just like Neo Harmony, with shades of Othello. Asgard and Judgment Day are both sad drops even though totally born out by the stats. Acro... was cool before it got overgassed, but hurrah for no Roadrunner.

These maps are probably the best of the bunch, though I liked Acro (for potential macro games). Good choice. I hope the final versions are a bit more polished still, though.
Can't wait to see Outsider SE.

Desti & Outsider would have been better but HBR is kinda cool too..

The only thing I can think of that they might have changed on Outsider is the size of the mains. They're really small in the original.

And Destination is gone. Gonna feel empty without you old friend but hopefully they'll have made some cool changed to Outsider.

I really hope so. Because making the mains bigger would probably mean making the middle smaller which in turn makes terran a bit stronger. Terran really needs to get something out of this map the same way Protoss and Zerg does (vs Terrans) so that wuld be great.
Also I absolutely hate the small mains. I like having space to move freely through my bases and hate it when my base is structured so that a zerg can tear me apart with mutas or a protoss can camp one side of my base with arbiter / goons.

I doubt firebathero will get past zero even he even beats jaehoon. Flash in same group as Mind sucks balls.

Light/Hero/Movie is tough, but Light is probably the favorite of the group in terms of MU strengths. His TvP is better than movies, and his TvZ better than Hero's.
Luxury's group is pretty tough to call, Guemchi is more than capable of beating Hwasin and Luxury, but the problem is all 3 of these players are streaky and inconsistent as hell.
I think Forgg will win his group, and hopefully Skyhigh topples the restored King of PvT.

PvZ is going to be quite the interesting matchup given the map choices! Interesting as in possibly roller coasting from P>>>>>>>Z to Z>>>>>>>P until some new strats appear.

Gah Mind is in the same group as Flash. Why couldn't they both be in different groups...but then again, Mind could lose to HoGiL seeing how inconsistent he is.
SkyHigh has an extremely daunting task if he beats ggaemo, against Stork's PvT. Stork won in dominating fashion in the All-Stars match and WCG against Fantasy (at that moment, having a stellar TvP record). Hard to see Skyhigh beating him, but SkyHigh did All-Kill Oz in the Winners playoffs.

Speaking of OSL and maps....can someone remind me how the OSL determines the mappool? I know that they take at least one map from the PL mappool (I bet it will be Match Point).

The map pool is actually decent for toss, I think. They took out the graveyards, put in the one with a positive record, retained 2 balanced ones, and one P>Z>T>P map.

Oh thank god they didnt choose road runner. I thought I was going to explode if they chose the 4 player clone of Destination. Especially with how wonky all the bridges are going every witch-way.
I do really like match point though. I played a 30 minute game against a friend and its going to make for some really good matches I think.

What, with Outsider and HBR? I actually think HBR is zerg favored, but not imbalanced (It's like 45% for PvZ). Yes, it's P>T, but not to the same extent as it is Z>T Z>P.
Outsider still isn't really determined for its balance, but I haven't seen Bisu whine about it yet, and I'm guessing they made the double gas expo more difficult or impossible to take. It's just such a strange map that I don't think any of the best builds for it have been figured out for any matchup.
I'm glad desti is gone. Map was feeling really dated.
Basically Moon Glaive is the only one that looks like it will be a toss graveyard. However, the map tests/lineup tests had it being strangely P favored. From watching Best v Yarnc it seems like it is just because Z haven't dealt with 1 base P for a while, so I'm expecting it to fully favor Z in PL.
Tornado seems like it will be Z>>P, P=T and T>Z. HBR is another map that's not great for P. The other 3 look to be good for at least 1 toss matchup. I feel bad for people who put 3 P on their FPL anti-teams.

Pretty pleased with the maps selected. I like all of them although I find match point quite strange and don't like the tileset, but it's okay. Moon Glaive is just beautiful, and Silver Wing seems like a really nice, standard map. Tornado is my least favorite of these maps. It's quite ugly and just seems very boring.

No Asgard makes me sad. Still Heartbreak Ridge makes me sadder.
I'm glad Moon Glaive is in though. Still, there weren't many other 3 player maps to choose from, and we've seen plenty of Medusa. Thinking about 3 player maps makes me think of Plasma. Now I'm sad again.

There were some epic games on Asgard and Acro, but those were some imba maps.

i think they are going to abolish rotk since it has used/is near its maximum 4 season life span.
so i think ogn will introduce two new maps, unless they are insane and keep holy world.
