stupid format.

16 players was a good amount.

the qualification wil be even more uneccesarily convulted.

3rd/4th is meaningless again.

more single elimination stupidity.

This new format will be 11 weeks long.

The Qualification Round or w/e I called it will be made of 16 people. 6 from the players in current ODT, (that includes BoxeR) and 10 from an off-line tourney. This means NaDa and Reach may have a chance too, I think.

and 3rd/4th may be meaningless, but there will now be a battle to get 5th/6th!

I wanna know exactly who that can play those qualifiers. Maybe pj and lx can try it out.

I hope kingdom reach anytime gets in, so we can see the toss kings vs the neo ones.

this looks like a very well put together schedual. This excludes the posibility of being some sort of "bOxEr efect". It is although encouraging for players like nada, reach, yellow, kingdom marine sync and many more old schoolers as they would consider retiring. So this is a pleasent surprise the least and maybe the biggest and more important change for the future of bw.

yes, it doesn't make any sense to practice for a BO3 without a certain purpouse. More likely they will bring more cash into it.

watch boxer get in this and win.

the new 5th/6th place match takes some concern off in terms of having an intense final match.

the only thing I wish they would have would be some sorta of double elimination, because as of right now draw is still and uneccessarily huge factor in determining who wins.

It's a little suspicious that they introduced this new format when everybody had already qualified for the next osl and after Boxer'd lost. If this didn't have anything to do with Boxer, they would've introduced the new format right after the last osl and done the qualifiers according to their new format, no?
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

Or not.

Last OSL many got dissapointed.
I think that they react to all dissapointed fans, that wanted a great serie between oov and july. If they increase the players and bo series. It will (hopfully) result in more exiting games, at least more chanses to make games exiting beacuse there are more players and matches.

Or not.

I like this format, more players, more games per week. I won't say the idea of NaDa being back isn't a huge factor :D.

is this a chance for NaDa and Reach to go back as Boxer can? If the three can go back, this will be a great OSL, xD

Wow, i feel like wtf now, but changes are very good. Hope reach makes it to the OSL. And two OSLs per week is awesome.

DTDominion, how is this worse than the old OSL format? Like the old format didn't depend on draw -_-;; plz.
The group stages are insane, plus wild cards will make for such intense games.
Even the ODT seems like it'll be cooler to watch instead of that R1 R2 rounds.

And for whoever said they can't follow progaming cuz of too many games, watch the Ro16 and up smart guy -_-;; It'll be same as old OSL.

And yes, I really want Boxer to win, but with so many more players... omg.
