So I bought a new camera a few weeks ago, a Nikon D3100, which is all a poor student like me can afford. Wasn't really expecting to go to any events in the near future... after all, I had basically stopped caring about competitive gaming the day Jangbi kissed his second and final Starleague trophy and the curtains fell on professional Korean BW. But dis Mizu kid somehow convinced me to go to IPL 5, if only to meet lovely TLers again (although he sucks for backing out last minute). Well, from there, with all the excitement and passion, I just got sucked in again, and ended up agreeing to go to NASL4 finals as well D;
Even though it was 2 separate events one week apart, it honestly just felt like one giant long ass weekend to me. Everything just blurs together when you're having a good time. Great games in the day, yummy food with friends at night, and mafia until dawn. It was amazing. But once you've lived the esportslyfe... you just can't go back lol. Now I just count the days until the next event ><
Until then, I'd like to share some of my favorites from the photos I took (my comments and ramblings in spoilers). I'm still super noob, but hey, it's already a huge step up from my crap OSL final pics from last year lol. I'll confess, I probably spent way more time watching League than I did Starcraft lol. Apologies to Robin and everyone whom I ditched for LoL xD (not my fault SC was so zzzzzzzzzzzvzzzzz tho)
Fnatic totally won me over with their sick sick play, especially when they basically 4-0 stomped TPA. I was cheering for them so hard until the very end but... then they kinda let me down T_T
