This guy is the next big thing. He's been phenomenal, and I've been rooting for him as my #1 player (along with Nada) since just before his MU with iloveoov in the quarterfinals.

I'm going to say it now, and not edit this post so it remains here: this guy is the next big thing in pro starcraft. He's going to be the next Nada/iloveoov/july/boxer in their heydays.

Prediction: Domination.

Oh and I know people have made this prediction before and it's not very original, but I'm going with it and not retracting it, unlike some who make a million predictions and ignore them when they are wrong, but claim "I knew it" when one of them comes true.

how can sea be far, far more impressive than flash is now? hes basically been around for a month and is 15-2, is in the semis for an OSL and is tearing up the proleagues

also, we've also only really seen his TvP. his TvT seems incredibly solid, and his TvZ still relatively untested

True, Sea was 10 times more impressive.
Flash is on a roll, but even IF he somehow wins OSL, I think next season he'll have a much harder time to do even 10th as good as he's done this season. He's too young to be stable solid right now, imo he's going to either slump, or just get owned next season. I'd be happy if he proves me wrong.

Fuck Sea, I dont see what so impressive about him now. All he do is act like Light and use homosexual cheese moves. Examples, proxy Starport and SCV + bunker rush.

SC champions changes like the season, even if he does win this OSL, its not weird to see him get own up later. But 15-2 and only losing to Boxer and Savior, he is on a friggin hot streak.

Well my prediction still stands: I'm saying he's going to be the next big thing, like Bisu is now or Savior was before or iloveoov was before that. It's a pretty specific prediction, not some wishy washy "he'll do well sometime", but that's what makes it so fun. And I know a lot of you disagree with me on what level he will top off at, but only time will tell if I'm right and he reaches that level or if he only gets as far as someone like FBH or Sea or something, good, but not great.

I don't think that he is going to be the next huge star because a patern that has been occuring with most of the dominant forces. The ones I am referring to are Nada, oOv, and sAviOr. Each of them made a mark in the MSL before coming over to the OSL. Maybe it it something about the MSL that helps improve your style but it seems like that is the case.
Even now the one who seems to be going along this path is Bisu who is thought to be the next big thing by some. Even though he made it into the OSL faster than the other 3 he was kicked out quite early and is continuing his path along the MSL towards another title.
Flash on the other hand has quickly burst onto the OSL scene and is playing strong. I am thinking he may turn out something like Casy if he wins the OSL.

Honestly people theres NO WAY of knowing at all how he is going to do. Why do you pretend like you know how he's going to improve or not improve? It's rediculous. All I can say is that he has potential. And a young player with potential is exciting and good for the popularity of brood war.
